Whenever I’m on a call, and I need to take field notes. These are what I pull out of my pocket. I trust these and they don’t smear when it rains. I really enjoy them. The paper is good quality and the pages stay in the notebook like they should.

This notepad was great, although rather pricey it does indeed do what it states. It protects against weather specifically water damage. Although I found that after constant exposure to water, the paper would tend to get weak, this problem would resolve after letting it dry. This being said, it states that it can prevent pens whatever you write with from being washed off, but after testing this with a fountain pen, the ink just washed away. Of course, the paper held tough but all my field notes were gone, however not everyone uses a fountain pen and in this case, it is not a problem. Overall the notebook does what is intended and is worth the price tag.

Being a long time user of the other popular brand, these are a fantastic value for the money. I am using them for "get home bags" and this 5pk size is great for quick notes, they have lines and a faint dotted vertical lines to create a grid. They work great with pencil and ball point pens, although marker pens such as a papermate flair will smear and water will slowly remove that. Waterproofed well, edges can get a little wet but it doesn't soak into the pages, however where they are punched through for the binding seems to be able to soak up some water but it dries quickly. Overall, a great replacement for the other brand.

I used these for my fire notebook (I do Wildland Firefighting) and these worked great in the harsh conditions out on the line, definitely worth buying and I personally plan on buying again.

It works as advertised including in wet weather. The pages are a light olive color rather than white, so pencil is hard to read but pen works fine.

I love these for my waitressing job, they go in my apron along with a wet cloth and do not damage or go soggy I will definitely buy again when I run out
