Please Note: If you use an external SSD solid-state drive as a Dashcam. Please Copy the "Teslacam" folder from the USB drive provided by Tesla to your SSD solid-state drive via computer.
Step 1
Plug the Dash cam USB drive into the blue USB 3.0 interface.
Step 2
Insert other external devices such as USB drives and game controllers.
Step 3
Connect the USB hub to the USB-A interface of the glove box for use.

Works great. Have had no problems saving/viewing dash cam footage. Works well playing games too. I use multiple USB Xbox controllers for games while the USB is still in place and have had no issues. 2022 model 3, great fit in glove box.

Great price and number of slots. Works extremely well on Highland model.Make sure you label the top folders of your different USB drives 'TeslaCam' and 'Music' otherwise the device won't work. Put the TeslaCam drive in the blue slot for best performance.

I use this to power my teslacam usb (using rock pi 4c+). It works flawlessly, as picky as that board is for power and connectivity.Buy this one!

I wanted to be able to plug in game controllers without removing the Sentry flash drive. This USB hub fit right in. Sentry continues to write to the drive in the hub flawlessly while I can easily plug in a controller for some gaming while charging.

First thing is the picture is not what you get. The picture shows a CT Looking device and what you get is a very generic looking 3 port device. That being said I plugged in the original Tesla Stick and my 64GB Stick with my mp3 Music on it. Neither stick was seen by the truck no matter if I only had one in or not. They both worked if I plugged them in direct, and worked with another standard computer hub with a 6" cord. So save your money, look elsewhere.

Fits my 2025 Model Y glovebox port perfectly. However, the USB stick heated up significantly after about a half hour. I am keeping it for use to expand the port for game controllers. Won't run it full time though.

Make sure you have the correct device as it comes in two 'flavours'. Depending on your vehicle, one will fit and the other will not. Both have USB-A connection to the port inside the glovebox, but one version is 90 º to the other, so be sure you know which one you need to be using before ordering. Otherwise, keep in mind that the newly available ports come in type 3 and type 2, so be sure you using them correctly (security video in type 3, and media in type 2) before you plug into the glovebox. Get those points correct and the experience is easy and straightforward.
