The quality is great and seems to work great. Not waterproof obviously but I wish it was at least resistant. But overall great product!

Good looking tach, only problem is they don't mention in the amazon description that if you have an HEI distributor then it requires their HEI signal filter part# GS-HEI-Filter. If you don't have this it won't work at all. Just jumps all over the place.

Bought this for a 1999 Suzuki Carry DB52T Minitruck. This truck has EFI & distributorless ignition. I hooked up the tach pickup wire to one of the coils on the spark plug. Had to set the tach to “1†cylinder to get a correct readout. The included instructions are not very good. They don’t tell you how to set shift point or change the colors. Had to Google for that information.Works good now though.

1) The instructions say nothing about how to set the RPM level for the shift light.2) The instructions say to rotate the small dial in the back of the gauge to select the number of cylinders of the engine the tach is being used for. Simple enough.... except the detents are between the numbers, not directly aligned. The arrow on the dial points between the 6 and 7, or the 5 and 6, not at the 6 (for 6 cyl engin). So you don't know for sure what's been selected. Without a second tach thevis bo way to compare output readings to be sure.

It works as a tach but that’s about the end of it.Knob for shift light was broken when it arrived and so color of lighting isn’t changeable and shift light rpm isn’t adjustable. I talked to the company and it’s basically a deal of send it back on my dime and they will test it to see if they will replace it. Problem is it took 3 weeks to get here and I don’t feel like waiting another few weeks and pay more money to get a product that should’ve been working from the start.That QC sticker on the back is a lie.

item quality is good, no problems with auto_install tube the same as in the description if it was clearly explained to the computer model that I had, just buy the needed ..Recommended ...
