Product Description

GlowShift’s Boost Bolt Adapter is designed to thread directly into your 1998.5-2007.5 Dodge Cummins 5.9L Diesel’s intake manifold, allowing you to easily install the barbed fitting or sensor that is included with your GlowShift boost gauge. The boost bolt adapter replaces a bolt on the intake manifold and allows you to use the fitting to read your vehicle's boost pressure. Installation is extremely easy with no drilling or tapping necessary. It is extremely important, however, not to torque more than 120 inch-pounds. Please also note that this adapter will not work with a 6.7L Cummins engine. GlowShift makes the process easy with detailed instructions and free lifetime tech support to walk you through step-by-step.

This worked just fine.. For everyone saying it snapped on them, it's a bolt with a hole in it, why are you putting so much torque into it.. The tinsel strength of the this product is fine. It took about 20 ft lbs which is plenty for its purpose..

Works great but on my 05 cummins the hole it goes in is right below the injector plug so there's no room for the sensor on top of it. Simple fix was a brass 90.

Exact fit, easy installation, and I didn't have to drill and tap into my intake. 2001 dodge ram 2500 5.9l 24v cummins.

Worked great, dont over tighten it though, it breaks easily with hand strength and a 3/8 ratchet

Hey all, I know this is not the intended use this but I was searching for so long and THIS WORKED.I had never done an oil pressure switch before so like a newb when I was tightening it down I over tightened it a fully broke off the housing. I tired sooo many things and my Subaru was out of commission for a while. I drilled the hole the taped it ti 1/8 27 (the original size). Then i originally Jsut put a bolt in to prevent oil from going all over my engine. When I saw this adapter I bought it as I could then put the oil pressure switch in and my engine could run fine again!IT WORKED. I obviously needed some teflon tape on the treads as my tap may have not been the Best. But it’s been running in thsi for a couple weeks, no leaks and sensor works.I know this long but I’m hoping thsi will help with other ppl who do this to their engine blocks and don’t wanna replace them!
