This type DP male camlock (Cam and Groove) fitting has a male quick connect adapter that attaches to a standard female cam and groove coupling. The cam and groove dust plug used to plug the end of a pipe or hose with a female cam and groove coupler.

The body is made of aluminum. Aluminum cam lock fittings are lightweight and are corrosion and abrasion resistant. These cam and groove fittings are suitable for use with water, hydraulic oils, coolants, gasoline, and other petroleum products.
