Installed this on my 2007 Chevy Impala. This install only took me around 15 minutes. A 10mm socket, two bolts and one electrical clip and the job is finished. Replacing this part solved the engine power reduced issue i was having. In my case, I had two different error codes, the first was for the throttle body's sensor. So, after verifying that code, I replaced it and the car was fine for about a month. The engine power reduced problem came back so I had this new code read and it turned out to be this accelerator also. My issue was at both ends, so I suggest going to a place that will read the error code and verify which one it really is.The secondary issue replacing this part resolved was a random rough shifting problem. Sometimes when attempting to accelerate from a complete stop, the car would lag and then the transmission would jerk into gear. Since replacing this part, acceleration is smooth, responsive, and consistent throughout the whole RPM range.Gas mileage is +2 mpg also!

This is a good quality replacelent part that worked well in my 2008 Chevy Impala to fix a hesitation issue I was experiencing. While driving a steady highway speed, I could feel the engine hesitate or feel like it was missing. Some said to replace or clean the throttle body, which is a more expensive repair and part. Try this first, it fixed the problem and was cheap. The sensor in the pedal goes bad and causes the engine to not know where the throttle position is, thus causing the hesitation or surging.
