This pack is making filming so much easier. The amount of gear I am able to fit into this thing is incredible. And it’s not just the amount, it’s how I can keep it all organized. Life on set is already hectic, so being able to have everything I could need stored in a way that keeps my gear easy to find is important to me. I have one section I can use for cords, one to use for my mics, and the largest section for my lights. Plus the outer zipper pockets for all the little things that are easily lost in the shuffle of larger bags.Besides the oganization, the best feature on this is the protection it offers my gear. Tech is expensive, and keeping it safe during transport and on set is priority 1. The boarder of the main compartment in this pack has a dense foamlike padding. This is the place I’m keeping my lights or mics, and having this extra layer of protection gives me peace of mind. There is also padding between the compartments, to protect everything from everything else.Even the little extras are well thought out. The backstraps are thick, which is necessary for carrying heavy things. The pull tabs on all the zippers in a bright color for not only ease of use, but to facilitate quick movements. Down to the side mesh bottle pocket, as I am always misplacing my water among all the other bottles on set. This pack is such a relief.

This has good quality exterior material but it's going to take time to straighten out. It's a little hard to tell if it's ok because the entire backpack was tightly folded in half and smashed down into a little ball in a plastic bag, That completely crushed and bent over the side padding and makes it prefer tipping over.A backpack rolled into a ball is terrible packaging by the manufacturer. It should have been flat at leastThere seems to be decent cushions on the sides but it's hard to tell with them smashed down and bent over.First impression of exterior fabric is very good. Strong stuff. The interior is the opposite. Bright orange and very thin. This is ONE main pro:Pro: - durable exterior material. and lots of pockets.Cons:- The thin soft orange interior material has no form to it.- The main straps are thin and don't stay very well.- The extra interior layers and flaps take up half the room of the bag.- there is so many pockets with extra layers of fabric (at least 17 pockets on top of other pockets) that most of them serve no purpose since they overlap over other pockets. If you load pocket 3,4,5 and 6 you can't use pocket 7,8,9,10,11,12 14 or 15 since the space behind it is already full. There's way too many pockets on top of other pockets.- Oddly, the top of the bag doesn't open. The left side doesn't unzip at all.- The whole right side does and all along the bottom too. Then the whole rear panel swings out sideways. It's more like a very soft suitcase with straps that opens sideways. That wasn't really evident till I opened it and that's not a good idea.Backpacks almost never have openings or holes on the bottom since things fall out. Bad idea.- If a zipper fails or isn't zipped or the way your stuff falls out the bottom.- The zipper is the weak link and all the weight will be on the zipper for the life of the product.- No name band on the zippers.- That also means it won't stand up much and you have to lay it down flat and open the whole bag twice as wide to load it since the top doesn't open. It's a flexy soft suitcase with straps.- The interior has a lot of noisy velcro holding down many flaps and pockets.Velcro isn't ideal for some venues and audio settings such as weddings in churches, music in theaters, art galleries etc where it's fairly quiet. RIIPPP that velcro off. There's lots of velcro. They added more pockets because they can, not because it made any sense.I'll probably end up cutting out most of the extra interior flaps and pockets that are in the way of loading it.I'll keep maybe 6 pockets,, not 17 or 20.. not sure of the total since even the pockets have pockets. It will be ok - but clearly it's designed and packaged by someone who's never owned a backpack or carried a load.

Okay, so, like, this bag? Seriously, it's kinda amazing. I was a little skeptical, you know? But then I stuffed it full of my MPC One, my mixer (which, let's be real, sounds way cooler than it is), my laptop, and a ridiculous amount of cables. And...it all fit. Like, easily. It's comfy too, which is a big deal because my back is, well, let's just say it's not getting any younger. I could totally wear this thing for hours without complaining (too much). And it feels super sturdy, like it could survive a tumble down a flight of stairs, which, knowing me, is a distinct possibility.Honestly, it's just really handy. Everything's organized, nothing's bouncing around, and I don't feel like I'm lugging a ton of bricks. If you need a bag for your gear, this one's a solid pick. Plus, it makes me feel slightly more professional, even when I'm just jamming in my bedroom.
