Your cart is empty. GME RD-300 Resistance Substitution Decade Box, Designed and Engineered in the USA
The RD-300 Resistance Decade Box is a convenient tool aiding you both in design and testing as well as calibration of your test equipment. When needed to determine the correct resistance value, the RD-300 offers 7 decades of resistance ranges, from 1 to over 11MΩ in 1Ω steps. Slide switches allow for easy addition and subtraction of resistance values. Switches that are in the ON position are clearly marked by a white dot below it to easily distinguish it from those that are OFF. A rubber boot allows the user to prop up the unit for ease of viewing and changing of values.

This thing is going to save me a lot of time selecting the right resistor for LED headlights in model RR locomotives. It looks quite accurate when measured by my good Fluke DVM.

Decent R-boxes have long been in the hundreds of dollars, prohibitively expensive for little guys like me... up to now.I got this box. put my Fluke 80 on it, and it checked out on all the values. Very nice.The 1 Watt rated power is excellent as it will avoid a lot of inadvertant blowing-out of a value.Darn good R-box. Thanks GME!

I like it. Nice switches, professional feel, nice case, too. Claims all resisters are 1 watt which is pretty good at the price I found here. Also, it claims internal resistance is only 0.3 ohm which is impressive. Haven't used it yet.

Worked as intended. Compact and functional packaging. I used it to optimize the loop resistance of a current loop circuit. I would recommend it.
