All the guys in the shop want to borrow my micrometer. It's sturdy, well made and accurate. Some of the other brands don't go back to 0 after measuring and closing but this one does. Great value for the money!

This micrometer at this price is a great deal. I can't find any fault. It has a nice weighty feel. The metal appears to be stainless steel. The rubberized grip has finger indentations, so you can get a good grip on it. They even included a spare battery. I expected something much less good. It's nice to be surprised in a good way.

Every time you move the slide back, it loses the zero by average 0.3mm. Not exactly a precision tool.

This product works well and is packed nicely. I would like to see the measuring surface of the tool pointed so you can get into the grooves but works well otherwise. One screw on the battery compartment was in so tight I stripped it out, which was a little annoying.

This is WAY better than I was expecting. I don't need a rotor micrometer, but I did need a new digital caliper. My old one will eat batteries unless I physically remove them when not in use, which makes it darn near useless.Because this is intended for rotor measurements, it does have limitations over conventional calipers. For example, there is no depth bar that protrudes out the end for measuring hole depths. Nor are there internal jaws. But for outside measurements, it performs flawlessly.The movement of the head is smooth and precise, and it returns to zero accurately. The readout provides resolution of 5-tenths (0.0005") or 1/100 of a millimeter. It automatically turns on when the head is moved, and turns off with the button press.

Very accurate and has a smooth refined feel when adjusting. Very easy to use and comes with a protective case to keep it clean. The handle can be removed to make it longer...it's nice to have it on there so you don't get the slide rule dirty though. Worth the price.

I really love how you can switch from mm to inches on the digital screen. It saves time and the handle feels good. Right from opening the package you can see good quality. The price is good for what you're buying.
