A nice tool to have around when your local Toyota stealership attempts to induce panic buying by saying you MUST buy their tires now by reporting “tire tread depth is critically low on two tires…â€.In reality, checking and confirming 5/32†of remaining tread isn’t critically low - just entering the zone of needing replacement and not even at the tread wear bars.Also handy to check which two tires are of concern since the service writer couldn’t determine /disclose that somewhat essential detail…So, this gauge was very handy to check the service writer’s ridiculous claim causing panic with my spouse… Totally worth the price for just that!Easy to use as it does fraction conversions for you.Completely accurate when compared to an old analog gauge.All in all, a nice handy addition to the tool box over older non-digital gauges.I’d buy it again/recommend.

SKIP the analog gauges you see on Amazon. Spend a little more and get this digital gauge as it is very easy to read and has 3 different measurement modes. (millimeter, in/in, and in). It is very high quality and very useful for keeping those pesky tire shops honest. The battery also lasts a long time.

This tire tread depth gauge appears to be of good quality and accurate in its measurements. Very easy to use on my motorcycle tires. I highly recommend the Godeson Digital Tire Tread Depth Gauge.

want a quick precise easy to read tread depth gauge but don't want to pay $500 for the tool truck laser depth gauge, this is the tool for you.

Tried it out, works perfectly as intended. The zeroing can be a bit sensitive and very accurate, paying close to attention helps.

I have tried a few of these exact type of depth gauges and some better than others. Steelman makes a good one however the gauge is plastic and can break.This gauge is metal, very small diameter and reads very accurate. The best so far.
