This kit was an easy choice to add into my photography kit. When I want to add some color to the atmosphere of my sports portraits I'll add one of the colored gels to my V1 in the background.They're light, easy to store, and come with a multitude of options to choose from.

If you're beginning your journey into flash photography and gels, this might be a tad difficult because every gel changes the flash compensation you receive. If you know what you're doing, it can do the trick. I will say, stacking colors to create cool combinations doesn't really work. It'll just show the stronger color and not combine them.

I love how simple it is to attach this to my speedlite! I am still learning how to use flash and these made me excited to try different things that I'm normally too nervous to try out during my paid shoots. Love it!
