I was looking for a light that was tall enough to reach over my monitor for zoom/teams/webex video calls (since my webcam sits on the top edge of the monitor I wanted the light near and just behind the camera). This fits the bill. 3000k is on the warm side of spectrum and offers a much better color option than many leds that are pure white- this provides for a flattering and natural face tone. It’s slightly annoying to cycle thru the different color settings but the light remembers the last setting once you find the one you want. Many stands are large- this one fits nicely on desks that are already crowded with monitors, keyboards and laptops, and the adjustable feet allowed me to fit the feet around other things already in place, a big bonus. It is a little wobbly but not excessive. I added a zip tie to secure the light stand to a monitor support but this wasn’t strictly needed. I liked mine so much I bought a second one for my wife right away. Excellent price for a light with stand included.

The light works great. Three different color settings, and 7-8 warmth settings per color. The foldable feet are great for storage, however, the whole frame is too heavy, so you'll need something to keep it upright. As far as the accessories, one of the phone holders (the one not initially attached to the posable arm) and another accessory feels like cheap plastic. I can hear the springs straining inside as i struggle to pull apart the clamp and fit it around my phone. There's also a mini clamp of some sort that I'm not sure what the point of it is. There are two instruction manuals (one in English and one in Written Chinese, I'm assuming Mandarin ) but neither show a depiction or describe what it can be used for. Everything else, however is straightforward, understandable, and better than average quality.

Leaving this review so other people don't have to repeat my mistakes. I've gone through several of these from various brands on Amazon. You cannot just use any old USB charger you have lying around the house. It might work, but it works for about 3-5 months until it starts to flicker and then die. Don't use ANYTHING other than a 5V, 2A, 10W charger. If you don't have one or are not sure, buy one to go with this. Otherwise you are wasting your money because it will fail outside of your return window. Other reviews say the same thing. Believe them.As for function, I like model a lot. This is a good lamp with more color choices, larger, and brighter than some of the less expensive models. If you talk to clients or co-workers on zoom all day, it helps a lot. It's also sturdy and better constructed than most other models. For size reference, the monitor is a 29in widescreen monitor.

In case anyone else has this problem, the screw that is supposed to be removed from the telescoping upright and attached to the base was very stuck. I pried off the flat plastic piece to expose the screw and used pliers to remove the screw. It was stuck because it is completely rusted in place. I used it without the cap and it works, but most people will not go this far. Light is okay, not super bright but a nice feature set.

This ring light is great. It’s light, compact and easy to use, and it puts out great light for your zoom calls or photo shoots. I’m a photographer, so it’s useful for shoots when I want that “fashiony†ring light look, but I’m also on zoom calls several times a week and there’s nothing easier than using a ring light to give you nice even lighting. One of the things I love most about it is that it’s powered from USB. So I just just plug it into my computer when on zoom, or I can use a portable power bank when on location or shooting in my studio and need to be able to move around. For the price you can’t go wrong either! I’ll be using it periodically and I’ll post an update if I have any problems with it, but so far so good!

Good features for the price. Brightness and warmth settings should be good for casual/business calls but may not be robust enough for performers. One star off for poor stand base design. The legs only fold out in one direction, which makes it easy for an errant elbow (or a cat) to tip it over without weighing the base down with something. It comes with warranty info and an ad booklet for their other products, but does not come with assembly instruction, which is odd. There are only a few parts so it's easy to figure out, but still a weird omission.

The light works really well. The various light settings and colors work well in different environments. The problem is the stand is awkward and topples over easily - bad engineering. A little tripod at the bottom would have been a great idea.

I was expecting a lot more from this setup. First off, the construction is cheap and made with cheap plastic and metal parts that easily strip if you over-tighten them. It is a very flimsy setup that is not steady, shakes, and can barely hold its own weight. This product should be sold for less than $20 if it's even worth that. The only good thing about this is the ring light. The ring light is strong and dimmable. This company should be ashamed of itself for selling this product at its current price. The cheap plastic and low-quality metals probably cost less than a few dollars to mold and assemble.I will not send it back because I like the light, and I can adapt it to a good camera tripod I already own.

First off, this came with no English instructions at all. And if you try to find an English manual online, you will find a one page document saying what comes with the product, not how to assemble it.There are three pieces of hardware for people who intend to use their phones. Perhaps on one's phone, a person can look great. Using a desktop, at night, I did not see that much of an improvement. It seems there are 6 shades of white light, which you access by tapping "color" on the remote control. You can also brighten them a bit and lower them a bit. This is done through a remote control which is all part of the USB wire that powers the light. There is no plug, so, it's just USB powered. The additional pieces for using the hardware with the phone were confusing. Once we finally figured out that the three pieces of hardware were for a phone, then it became a bit easier to assemble the product. The truth is: even with an excellent iMac and 27 inch screen, and futzing with the screen brightness, this ring light didn't make that much of a difference. It helped a bit and is better than just throwing a big room light over my head, which doesn't do anything except light up the top of my head. With a lot of angling I can get the ring light to throw some light onto my face so I look a bit more alive. But honestly... it's a cheap toy and I'll haul it out for my zooms, but I don't think it makes a big difference. It's a cheap price, a cheap product (which works, so, that much is a plus) and there are no English instructions for assembly. So, as my mother used to say, "it serves the purpose" -- and that's all.
