I got 2 of these to use with photography equipment, very solid, sturdy on the heavy side.

I ordered this in a pinch, and when I went to set it up to use it, it was perfect. Easy to use and sturdy. Will most likely buy another one in the future

This is an excellent bracket that accommodates the Godox AD200 without any fuss (unlike the V1 bracket which required you to jam the flash into an opening that wasn’t quite large enough). Additionally, the receiver that fits over the pin on a light stand is extra deep to insure there is no wobble, the handle can be repositioned by pulling out and twisting to the desired location, and the hinge is infinitely adjustable with no detents. The entire bracket is made of sturdy, durable materials. In essence, Godox took everything they did wrong with both their previous Bowens adapter and their AD-B2 adapter and fixed it with this product.

I’ve got two Nikon SB900 flashes with PocketWizard remotes and an off-market flash unit with another wireless, 4 different softboxes, stands and now, these, which I use for portable studio and location lighting setups. They all fit snugly in a 40L tactical backpack. The reason you should get this C2 clamp:It’s beefier, the mount is straight-up metal and you can turn your DSLR flash sideways if you have strip softboxes. This also allows you to shove your flash along with the diffuser cap, into the clamp and secure it. The older original unit, which wouldn’t allow a flash and diffuser to fit, served its purpose for me. It’s worked well, but once I started changing the flash units, the clamp clearance got too small. This S2 unit has a plate that slides out. And the adjustment no longer is moved by stiff clicks. This again is metal, and it truly holds firm when tightened. The lever still can ratchet if you need to. Just tighten as far as you can go, pull the lever outward and ratchet back or forth.Mine also has the two added ‘freebies’ - the color filters and a little stretchy white bounce thingy. I can tell I won’t need that thingy but the gel filters also come with a filter storage slip (which is REALLY tight) and another insert that’s clear. Velcro is on both sides, one side all loop and the other all hook. And that’s outstanding design for those who have already put Velcro on their flash units, so we just use the side that works. Include as well is a strip of Velcro for sticking. Awesome.I have two 3ft-long strip soft boxes and for what I want to shoot, my flashes must go vertical. I can do that now, with the diffuser attached. I also have a 24x24†and 32x32†triangular softboxes and this design continues the ability to facilitate their deployment and storage. These are twice as heavy as the all plastic ones. Make sure that you have firm light stands to support the weight. Do NOT buy the cheap ones. Lights stands are securing your flash units. If they can’t be trusted you’ll likely see gear break until you get better stands. And this S2 holder does add a bit of weight. I’m thoroughly satisfied with these. I’ll save one of the original clamps to hold a third light. Now my portable system is complete.

I own three of these in Bowen’s mount. They’ve served me well for 3 years, so now I’m seeing another two. Great product, If you need mounting brackets don’t hesitate.

Initial Review Feb 2, 2022I bought this because I now have an octagon soft box. The sof tbox and this mount work well together. There is a spring loaded latch pin that keeps the octo box in place. The My godox speedlight fits properly. The only thing that seems odd to me is the swivel control handle could have been designed to freely rotate without running into other parts of the mount. I have to pull the spring loaded handle out to get past those restrictions.I recommend this mount

I have several of the S1 version of this bracket which works well but the S2 version has a much nicer feel. The tilt mechanism is much smoother than the old version that has the click stops so it's much easier to adjust to the angle you want. The fit is smooth and it feels solid. My only disappointment is that it doesn't fit the AD200 Pro/eVOLV 200 Pro (and I would assume the AD200/eVOLV 200) well. The knob on the side of the AD200 Pro will not pass through the bracket and, since the knob can't be removed, you have to put the AD200 Pro in from the front of the bracket until it contacts the knob. Considering how popular the AD200 is, I'm surprised Godox didn't take that into consideration.I have several AD360 and AD360 II units and they fit fine. I will definitely be using this bracket for my AD360's!
