Got this trigger to go with my Godox TT600 speedlite flash and it works great. My first flash and trigger and it was very user friendly.

So I can't say enough about this new X2T Trigger. I was an early adopter of the Godox 2.4 capable products, and quite honestly LOVE them, so much that I chose to convert my entire system to them. That being the case, I've always been happy with my X1T trigger, but it had several minor shortcomings. This new trigger seems to have resolved every single one. Things I've seen a direct improvement: the user interface, build quality and mechanics.First user interface: Godox added the group buttons and while I didn't think I really needed that, let me tell you...oh yes! It makes a big difference. It's so easy to adjust now. No clunky fumbling through the groups. LOVE THIS! Next the menu button...oh this may be my fave!!!! I shoot several things in rear curtain sync and trying to find that darn custom function was so annoying. I used to YouTube it every time I needed it. No MORE! Yay! The interface changes are a win!And I'm going to combine build quality and mechanics because they go together. The clicking thumb wheel...major improvement. It's so much more intuitive now. I can adjust without even looking. The buttons for the settings instead of a zillion hidden menus, also a win. And finally this might seem tiny, but even the locking foot is a nice and appreciated feature. These advances in build and mechanics take it up a notch. So in summary, I didn't think I could possibly need a new trigger, I already had 2 X1T. However I have a new student which meant I needed a third trigger and as I can afford it, I would transition all three over. This is a HUGE upgrade for not a huge upgrade price. And the seller was prompt with my questions. I'm quite pleased and will order from Insstro again.

I'm so glad I replaced one of my XPro triggers with the X2T! Godox took the best of the X1T-C (hot shoe mount, form factor) and all of the features of the XPro and stuffed it into the X2T-C with some additional upgrades.*Hot Shoe Mount*I create Cinematic Team Portraits from time-to-time (1st Photo), which requires me to remotely trigger the camera while using a Godox speedlite to light each individual in the photo (2nd Photo). I do so by attaching a camera trigger to the side of my camera, then placing the trigger in the X2T hot shoe (3rd Photo). Previously, with the XPro, the receiver would be left uncomfortably hanging on the side (4th Photo). Leaving the receiver dangling on the side reduces the life of the attached cord however, having a hot shoe to place the receiver in allows the cord to last longer than before.*Form Factor*This one is more of a personal preference however, I like how the X2T is flat on-top, unlike the XPro. Also, I'm liking the new Lever Lock Foot over the old one (5th Photo). I'm also liking (and getting used to) the control dial underneath the X2T.*Other Upgrades*I'm liking the ability to control the XT2 with my phone via bluetooth, very handy! As a MAC user, I also appreciate how easy it was to update the firmware on my MAC instead of needing to use my old (and very slow) PC to update my other Godox products. In case you're wondering, most of Godox's older products require a PC to update firmware, which is a big deal since Godox does a great job keeping their products compatible with new cameras.*Overall*I wish I got an X2T sooner and I may get another to replace another XPro! Also, no problems with the seller. The X2T arrived quickly with no issues!

I am using this transmitter on 2 bodies. My canon 5dm4 and my Mamiya RB67sd with a pc sync cable. I've used godox exclusively because of its affordability compared to profoto. I've never had an issue. The build quality is pretty good and the LCD is brighter than the x1t. There is a custom function for shooting close to the flash (which you have to switch in the device menu). The buttons at the top are really convenient compared to the original x1t. ALSO, the fact that the buttons are on the left hand side vs the right hand side is GREAT. Even the wheel selector is better. It communicates with lithium ion batteries correctly. The bluetooth application support is a nice upgrade too for those who don't want to deal with physical buttons. The "scan for best channel" function is great for finding the clearest channels for minimal misfires. I'm very happy with this product and it is a definite upgrade to the x1t.

I bought this unit so that I can use it with my Canon 600EX-RT in conjunction with my eVolv 200s (Godox AD200) on my Stroboframe. Before I purchased the eVolv 200s I used 2 Canon 600EX-RTs in a similar manner for weddings. I have a XPro transmitter and i tried using the X1R-C instead of the cable but it seemed too clunky. Switching to the X2T allows me to use the cable and keep the separate buttons for groups that the XPro has and the X1T doesn’t. The X2T also adds the ability to control power setting via the Godox smartphone app. Overall I’m very happy with the ease of use and features at a good price.
