The size difference between the X3 and my old R2 PROII cannot be under stated. The size makes it so much easier to pack when you're doing off camera flash on location. I don't have a studio so I usually use my strobes on location and every cubic inch of space matters when packing. Activating the TTL to M function was also a breeze. The scroll wheel is a great touch as well.The touch screen is decently responsive and precise. The thing that impresses me the most is the user interface. I opened this out of the box and was able to sync and start controlling my lights in a matter of minutes. It's very user intuitive and there are a ton of youtube videos showing how to get around it as well.The battery IS internal so eventually the battery on this thing WILL go and you will have to buy another, but I would assume that is years down the road.If you have the older model trigger, I would say the upgrade is worthwhile. I am selling my old R2 PRO II to offset the cost of upgrading so maybe that can be option for you all if you are thinking of upgrading. I don't see the point of holding on to, 2 triggers with only one camera.

I know godox triggers All kinda have a different set of features but if this one has more than I’ll probably ever use for the types of shooting i do. I like that it’s small and rechargeable, and the interface combined with the screen is much more user friendly than the others I’ve tried.

and i do mean little! it's much smaller than the other godox triggers that i own. the oled screen is beautiful to look at although pretty small to use the touchscreen.it has all the functions of the older triggers. i just wish it had an auto focus illuminator to help me focus in low light situations. oh.... i LOVE that it has a built-in battery. one charge lasts a long time.

I'll admit that I got this item thinking it was a compact flash. I failed to read the description. However, I played around with the controls and read about the features and can see where this would be a great trigger for remote flashes for anyone doing more involved flash photography than I do at the time. That said, this trigger will be part of my future kit when I expand what I do with photography.

Evoluzione di un sistema, forse il primo trigger con questo form factor molto futuristico (ed Apple Watch). Si presta a comandare tranquillamente l'intero sistema X di Godox, dagli speedlite ai monotorcia, con tutte le funzioni del caso (luce pilota, etc.). Supporta l'HSS fino ad 1/8000s, custodia pratica e ben realizzata. Qualità generale ottima, sistema di sgancio innovativo ed ingegnoso (ai primi utilizzi andrà un pò "duro" ma in poco tempo si assesterà). Nulla da dire, per allungare la vita a questo trigger ho acquistato delle pellicole in vetro temperato adatte allo scopo. Ora aspetto l'aggiornamento dei ricevitori, rimasti alla prima versione 😁
