I absolutely love these blankets. They are very easy to clean! Just wipe up spills/messes and throw in the wash, nothing soaks through. I have a cat that is prone to throwing up (and loves to nap in my bed while I am not home) and a dog who is a very messy eater and likes to bury food so all the blankets get a lot of use. They are very comfortable as well as functional! They also hold up very well over time; the ones I bought two years ago look just as good as the new ones. If you have a messy pet highly recommend having a back up as it keeps things seamlessly clean!

After 4 accidents with our adopted Doberman, two on the sofa, I ordered these (the sofa cover and a smaller one for his bed) to stave off any potential future sofa disasters! Of the colors offered, I chose the blue as it blended with the already blue sofa and decor. When the package arrived, the item was sealed in a plastic bag which had been placed in a box (the smaller one was also in the box). The color was true to form, and the fabric was soft yet sturdy, nicely quilted, and double sided. The blue does not show dirt or dog hair which is always a plus. The large size fit the sofa perfectly covering both arms, and the entire back, seating area, and front to the floor. My dog had no hesitation about jumping up to his place and making himself comfortable as there was neither an unpleasant odor to the fabric nor an unpleasant feel to the touch. My husband, who is a most gifted naysayer and doubter, immediately stated, "This is really good quality. How much did this cost?" When I told him, he was quite shocked that the cost was so reasonable for such good quality.On my part there was some uncertainty about the degree of waterproofing in the fabric, so I decided to test it. With towel at the ready and with a bit of trepidation, I gingerly poured about 1/4 cup of water on the cover just as had been done in the video. Much to my surprise and delight, the water beaded up immediately! What a relief. The cover was completely waterproof so the towel came in handy to absorb the perfect little beads of water. To be on the safe side, I did fold a beach towel and place it on top of the place where my dog sits to absorb any liquid that would bead up all the while totally trusting the waterproofing in the cover to protect my sofa. To say that we have been pleased with this purchase would be an understatement. As of yet we have not had to wash the cover, but I have great expectations that it will do just fine and last for quite some time. I wholeheartedly recommend this product. Yes, this works when you have intercourse. That's the main reason I got it, and it totally works. The material is comfortable and soft, and any mess you spill onto it will get somewhat dry on its own. It's a good size, and super easy to just wash normally. I've also used it when our dog is wet or when I'm on my period, and those both work super well too!

This is my second cover from the seller. The covers wear well and cover my sofa. The colors are true and pretty, and they are easy to fit. Very soft, and wash and dry well and quickly.

Wow, product is amazing - accidents happen with both people and puppies - this product is wonderful. Top towel was wet, yet it never touched the pet cover on my sofa. It is 100% the way it is advertised. I recommend this product for both humans and animals. It saves your furniture! Worth the price too!

It looks fine on the couch and keeps the dog from getting the couch all dirty but we just wish it was long enough to cover a standard size couch. It won't go far enough to cover both arms of the couch, just one or the other.

This product worked brilliantly when I first got it. My cat urinated on it and not a single drop got through, not even the smell.I washed as per the instructions provided above: gentle cycle, 20 degrees Celsius with non-bio detergent.Most of the waterproof coating has not gone. I tested it with a small glass of water and it’s now useless.I’m upset of course as I did what they said and I spent £65 on this!I’ve contacted them for help so we’ll see if they update the care instructions and send me a replacement.

I cannot tell you how disappointed I was when I opened this product. I understood that it would be a plastic form of fabric but did not think it would be so flimsy and cheap looking once I opened it. Certainly I wouldn't put it on a bed, as advertised, since I sure wouldn't want to sleep under it.I purchased it to stop dog paws on my furniture and with the immediate viewing of this product, it is useless. I am sure it would last a week at most.I wanted to return it, but I would have to pay for the postage which added more unhappiness to the purchase so it WILL COST to view this substandard product. This is the first time in my years of dealing with Amazon that I would have to pay postage to get a return for a substandard product. NOT WORTH THE MONEY ....Please consider buying something else from a different company. SUBSTANDARD PRODUCT AT BEST
