This was meant to be a fun trophy to encourage and reward a young person and it fit the bill perfectly. The size was as expected, around 6 inches high. The award looks kind of like an Oscar, but the figure is holding a star, which honestly is a great little touch since it's right in the young recipient's wheelhouse. Plain black base has plenty of real estate to apply a sticker or write the winner's name. For a plastic trophy this feels pretty solid and almost has a metallic quality to it. This was an excellent find and brought a sense of pride and accomplishment.
