Snug, comfortable, and great sound due to the perfect thickness and shape of the point. I may run hot water over it to open it up a bit but the shape is perfect. Many, many other thumb picks seem to be shaped wrong and dig into my thumb with their odd angles. Not these. Finally .. the perfect thumb pick.

Size is always going to be an issue when you order something like this.Small, medium, large. For your thumb?I have fairly slender hands, so I would think medium, probably. But too small for a thumb pick is really uncomfortable. So I went with Large. Which is roomy, to say the least, but I have had no issues with it turning around or falling off, or anything like that.So for me it works. Of course, YMMV.Sound wise I do like 'm as well. They are fairly thin, on the long side, not a heavy thunk on the lower strings, but a nice, clear rounded tone that is not bad.I am still considering buying a Blue Chip thumb pick, just to see how that is any better, if any.Price-wise these are no comparison of course. These are cheap.

I got the large fits my big fat thumb comfortably. Good pic was a recommendation from a friend who plays using thumb pics. Excellent quality product.

I don’t know if my fingers were to big but each one broke fairly easy and quick should’ve went fender or Dunlop

I'm an autoharp player. Let me tell you, friends, autoharps are MURDER on finger and thumb picks. You really have to dig for good bass respons. So far, these thumb picks have taken any punishment I dish out. They sound good without a lot of pick noise.I haven't had them very long, but they are showing no signs of wear. Every other type of thumb pick I've tried has shown evidence of wear at or before this time period. They are thicker than most other picks and the material they're made of doesn't click and clack when contacting the strings.I thought they were a little pricey when I saw the ad, but, so far, I'd say I got my money's worth.I bought the medium size. For me, they're a little tight, but I can play really hot thumb leads and they don't come off. But they are a bit tight. I think a large size wouldn't stay put. I may risk heating one of them to see if I can open it up a bit, but I don't want to degrade the plastic. All in all, I'm very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone who needs to really pick hard and fast.

I've been searching for thumb picks for years and years, have tried almost everything out there. My thumbs are moderately large and other picks have been too tight or else fit well but the back side of the thumb wrap snags the strings. These picks are PERFECT right out of the box! Perfect fit, no snagging strings on the back stroke, comfortable with no sharp areas to dig into the thumb, nice rounded picking surface, and, they look great! Have worn the pick for hours with no fatigue and no constriction of blood flow in my thumb. Well done, Golden Gate. I'm ordering more to keep as spares! Best picks ever, for me!
