This lock is virtually identical to the original one in my 2005 Civic and bolts in no problem. The problem is Honda keys don't fit this lock since theyre thicker so doing a rekey isn't possible. Although I didn't try popping the key hole cover off and switching it with original cover perhaps that might work idk. Otherwise if you don't mind using an extra key then this lock works fine and installation on my civic was quite easy 2-bolt 5 minute job.

just remember the orientation of the old assembly before you unbolt it. also,grease the hole of the plastic piece before pushing in the connecting wire or rod. without the grease, it's a tight fit and the plastic might break when pushing the rod or wire in. preferably use a small socket wrench to uninstall/install the assembly bolts.only takes 10 minutes for the whole job. 15 if you really take your time.
