Love the Golden State Art brand for Matboard. I've purchased the full matboard with the front and back as well as just the backs. These are the perfect thickness and have nice clean edges. They work perfect for matting photos.

Purchased in order to frame up an iconic Rolling Stones wall sticker in my newly created music room rather than sticking it directly on the wall. I also purchased the same size frame so that I could mount my project on the wall and I am very happy with the result. My mat boards all arrived in perfect, undamaged condition and are very good quality. I highly recommend them to anybody needing a plain non-beveled matboard.

Bought these to use as black backgrounds for frames that are larger than the art I'm framing. They are thick and look great. Have not tried to cut them.

I bought a variation of this product that has white on one side and black on the other. I don't know if they carry it anymore.We use them for our camera club competition. It's sturdy enough not to curl or bend when leaned against a support, as in a school project. It's not museum quality.Our best hold for Walmart printed pictures on it is a circle of masking tape so it's sticky on both sides. When it's fresh, dab on fabric so it holds and when carefully lifted, doesn't leave a mark. Test overnight. We reuse it. A good repositionable spray glue could be better. We did not have good success because we bought an off brand. We didn't want to spend the money to try different brands. This could be cut into a nice mat for inside a frame. It's good quality; heavier and sturdier than poster board, and not as flexible nor as thick and rigid as foam board.-minus 1* It's not as versatile as black on one side and white on the other.

I use these to seal the back of my stretched canvases to prevent damage in transport, and also to deny shelter to the recluse and widow spiders that live in this region.

These are just the right size and are perfect for my colored pencil projects. I have them in bunches of colors.
