Bought this oil can to replace a trigger-squeeze type can for a few reasons. First, you can keep a good grip on this can with the handle being nothing other than a handle, the pump mechanism independently operated with a thumb; second it holds a decent volume of oil and third the solid spout is easier to guide into spaces than a flexible one (metal or plastic) and the end of it comes to a reasonably small point so applying oil accurately is easier.Well made, even upside down this one doesn't leak. Feels like it'll last a good long time, too.

My first one leaked, the replacement is....mostly solid. Mostly. It still seeps a little every once and a while but it's very minor.

Quality and durability of construction is really nice. The only thing that needs fixed is it seeps oil at bottom. This was a complaint by previous reviews but cleaning it up and sealing will fix the issue.

I got tired of cheap junk Chinese oil cans and decided to buy the best can I could find. Goldenrod makes a lot of cans, but you have to step up to their Heavy Duty line to get the good ones. Almost bought a way overpriced can from England, but found this instead. Good can at a fair price.....I expect to pass it down to my son.

This thing is kinda pricey for an oil can but it works great so I guess that its worth the money. Never fails to work and it doesn't leak. PLEASE NOTE!!!! THE ABOVE IS THE REVIEW I WROTE WHEN I FIRST BOUGHT THESE OIL CANS. i GAVE THEM A 5 STAR RATING. NOW IT IS 3 MONTHS LATER AND I HAVE CHANGED MY RATING TO A 1 STAR. I bought 2 of these things, one for oil and the other for cutting fluid. They now both leak at the same location where they are pressed together. I can wipe them off and come back a week later and there is oil around the can and on the work bench where they have seeped out oil and cutting fluid.

Leaks bad. A flex nozzle would be nice. Really don’t use anymore

I've been buying Goldenrod cans for years, they are the best by far and never disappoint. Heavy duty construction throughout and made in the USA.

Overall the product looks and feels like it can accomplish the very simple task of holding and dispensing whatever oil/liquid that you put into it. However it fails to hold the liquid within the can as it seeps out onto whatever surface that you put it on. I would not consider this a good value for the cost of such an item. I read similar reviews prior to making my purchase but was hoping that their leaky cans were the exception and not the rule. Nope. My can leaked from the moment I filled it. It is so disappointing to continue to buy American made goods when there is no integrity in the quality of the product. I would think that if this company had any pride and is reading these reviews that they would have remedied this defect by now. They should really stop putting Made in the USA on their inferior product. We as a country need to produce things that we can be proud of. Especially right now.
