Product works well and included everything including a well written instructions and helpful tips booklet. Within minutes we were testing silver and then moved onto gold. Please note that when testing gold you compare the "fading/dissolving" levels of your sample. This differs from the silver test where you compare the resulting color. When silver testing or until you get comfortable with the kit, get your sample under sunlight. We noticed that under sunlight the silver color readings where much more clear to determine. So play around with light sources.

This little kid has saved me so many times. I’ve probably had it for two years and I still have a ton of the liquid tester left over and plenty of spots to test on the stone if I need to. I sell a lot of fashion and vintage jewelry and it’s just nice to have something like that if you wanna double check something.

I should have read better I believed it was z gold text kit to text gold . It only came w a way to test 14 K gold. So 10 K or 18k or any other type of texting is pointless w thus kit ill either have to order more test kits for each type gold or only test 14 K gold .. I think ill just forget it. My prolly was I order it to test a pitiful are price I believed to be 18k so the kit Gor my porous of buying it us mute. I just put it in the draw prolly never to. Used again ..thank god i realized it I may have tested it to e 18 K and thought it was not even gold milk pasd

Not at all what is advertised. Not JSP (had printed-from-a-home-printer looking labels), not a real stone (glass sprayed with textured paint) and liquids don’t work. Stay away.

Gold/Silver Test Acid Tester Kit is an inexpensive product to have on hand. I eBay selling everything from A-Z with much of it being high end jewelry. The tester is a simple way to determine the metal and content of gold, silver etc.. Highly recommended!

I think in my own opinion that you should throw in some 10K testers with this item.
