They're metal, large with ample hand room, and include ten holes for screws. For heavier duty, I recommend inserting metal tube or rod through inside of handle tube, and use 3/16ths t-nut screws through the cabinet wood. Use 1/4 inch for even heavier duty, but you will have to drill the holes out to 1/4 inch.

I bought a 4x12 Crate Blue Voodoo can that was missing the handles and these fit right in like the stock ones did. Great quality and an obvious easy install.
