My daughter loves making these little cakes. She is 8 and can pretty much do most of it herself. I do have to cook it in the microwave for her and help put the plastic tip in the icing bag but she does everything else. It’s a great activity for her.

This was definitely fun and nostalgic, easier than using a little oven that takes 30min 😂But I recommend using a scale and measuring the icing mix as they put enough for both cakes into one pack so if your trying to save any for later you have to either eyeball it or weigh out the 25gI eyeballed it and as you can see our icing was more runny than it was piping consistencyMy son did not care and was still very proud of baking a small cake. The sprinkles almost broke some teeth tho so deff don’t use those or take them off before you eat it.Seriously, don’t eat the sprinkles.

Purchased as a Christmas gift and it was VERY WELL received. I received the cutest video of the finished product and the recipient was very happy with their process and their result.

My daughter was so excited for this. While it is a very cute idea, the cake and frosting were very disgusting. She did enjoy the process of making the cakes though.

Was a perfect gift for my 6 and 3 year old granddaughters.Needed supervision with instructions and mastered the task.I would definitely recommend for any young bakers.

The little kit is fun to make. My daughter love mixing and pouring it into the mold and decorating these. The only issue is they tasted SOOOO BAD! I took a bite and had to spit it out! I had thought the "cat food" smell of them baking was one thing but they taste horrible. Given that they're tiny TASTIES you wouldn't think so but yeah these were so bad 😅 5/5 for the fun but -100 for the taste. If you don't plan to eat it, I recommend! Or if you want to give one to an enemy. Either way we enjoyed the process and hated the result. Do with this info what you will. I will not be buying anymore of these 😅 (also pics show runny icing. We added too much water)

This was a very cute set!Its important to note my 7yo son enjoyed this as much as my 9yo daughter. Here's the breakdown:- instructions are short and easy to follow- overall activity time was probably +/- 20min (the kids took their time decorating) so it doesn't drag on and on into the day- I love that it came with enough food material for two cakes so both my children could participate. But even if it were only one kid, two cakes feels appropriate since they are miniature. The can practice on one and make the 2nd one even better.- the little oven that the cake mold goes into is just adorable. The "oven" then gets put into the microwave.- the taste was ok, nothing to write home about but it was decent enough. Kids don't really care they just want to create and eat their own treat!Suggestions:- instead of using the exact amount of water recommended for the mini measuring cup, have the child fill it to the correct line to simulate actual baking skills but add the water in little bits at a time to get the correct consistency for decorating since you dont use an exact amount of icing mix (instructions recommend pouring half the bag which could end up being more or less than half).- just as any other real baking, the cake has to cool COMPLETELY before trying to release it from the silicone mould. Otherwise it will break up.We enjoyed this I hope they release a "boy" version. We don't care about gender specific colors or themes but a lot of people do care. This would make a great gift!
