We temporarily have 2 kittens we rescued from outside in our bedroom to keep separate from our other 4 cats for now and the small, open plastic box we were using for their litter box was NOT cutting it. Our room stunk and the size wasn’t fair to them. I had seen this on amazon before and am actually mad at myself for not getting it sooner even for my other cats (1000% am going to order 2 or 3 more).I was not a fan of the leaves that came with it, even prior to ordering and saw in reviews that people were personalizing theirs. So I ordered a 2-pack of banana leaves and some stones (wasn’t going to risk the moss). It does NOT look like a litter box !? And the kittens love it. Like many have said, it’s much bigger in person and that’s a huge plus. I poured maybe 3/4 of a 27lb litter into it and it was more than enough.What a perfect way to have a hidden litter box. A touch of greenery is perfect in any home AND my cats can use the bathroom in it? I love it. By the way - to any cat owners I recommend air purifiers. I just bought 4 from levoit and we are breathing so much better in our house. Also get you some of the new febreze scent boosts because they’re the best working scent distributors I’ve ever owned and I’ve tried everything from candles to wax warmers. Bonus you can hit the “boost†button and get 40 mins of extra scent and it’s like a perfect refresh/you can smell it again if gone nose-blind. Shameless plug in those products because I love them too and they pair well with litter boxes LOLUPDATE: I bought 2 more for our mudroom/laundry room. I bought another pack of banana leaves and used the extra leaves for the other. I also got another bag of rocks. I need to adjust them still and figure out how to make 2 stems work without one falling over (there is only one hole).Addition; The smell containment is not GREAT even with my air purifiers, scent distributors and windows open on occasion. Maybe a bit disappointed on that front but it’s still better than what I had before.

I never buy anything online without a lot of thought and research. I was in between buying this, or buying one of those furniture cabinets with boxes inside. I decided on this because it was a lot less expensive and takes up less room. I've been looking at this for awhile and read a lot of reviews about it, both good and bad.Here's my feedback:GOOD: - my BIG cats (15lbs) fit in it great! It is so much easier for them than the "jumbo" sized box we used before. - suprizingly looks good (I was expecting it to look cheap because the material is cheap, but it's not bad!) - super easy to keep clean. (wide openning lets me scoop easily, dumping litter out and then soap/water is a quick clean overall - affordable!!!! - works anywhere (doesn't take up much space, can angle openning in any direction so you can change your mind where to put it, unlike the furniture boxes) - NO ODOR: I've had it for a few weeks and it's been great! I have two cats, it's my only litter box, and NO SMELL. I can't imagine why reviewers had problems with odor unless they ignore the box for a week? I don't know. No problems here! -SUPER FAST shipping from amazon. free with over $25 purchase, and it came in 2 days! I was pleasantly shocked :)BAD: (not really bad but mentionable) - unable to use litter bags (unless you want them to show) not really a prob because easy to clean(see above) - after removing from shipping packaging the leaves take FOREVER to uncoil and straighten out. It recommends using a steamer and if i had one it would have made life easier! - some reviewers complain it's hard to line up the top and bottom grooves. It's not "clip 'n go" easy, it takes a few seconds, but it really doesnt take that much effort or skill to put the top on the bottom people!I don't ever write reviews, but thought I'd leave comments about this because I was soooo on the fence buying it, but am SOO happy I did. Hope this helps!

This litter box was quick and easy to assemble. Yes, you do have to carefully place the top of the planter onto the bottom base, but it only takes seconds to place it and feels secure once the top has been correctly seated onto the bottom. Yes, the artificial plant looks like an artificial plant. Not sure about you but I'd much prefer to see an artificial looking artificial plant than an open litter box, especially a used open litter box. It does take a few minutes to bend the leaves into a satisfying look, much like when you put up an artificial Christmas tree, only much smaller. In fact, I might even decorate this little tree during holidays! This might be the largest litter box I've ever seen, which is perfect for my 21-pound cat. If you have an 8-pound cat, you might consider something smaller. Although it was designed with a top-vented filter system and moss to help absorb smells, I'm not sure how much odor control you can expect from a litter box with a 9" x 9" opening on the side. Although I'm sure a covered litter box helps with odor control, I'll continue to count on my kitty litter to do that job until I clean out the box each day. The opening is nearly 7" from the floor which, very pleasantly, resulted in less tracking of litter than his previous box. My previous litter box was open, so one of my cats was reluctant to use it at first. I set the top aside, near the bottom, for a couple of days until she became more comfortable using the box. No problem with either cat using the covered box now. I placed this box inside my home but will likely purchase a second one to place on the lanai. Finally, this product is made right here in the USA.

PROS: An attractive option if you don't have a place to hide an ordinary litterbox out of the way. My cat loves it because it is spacious and private. It is easy to take the top off, clean, and put it back on.CONS: It is extremely large, so it can be overkill if you just have one ordinary-sized cat. It also takes up a lot of space and will look crammed if you don't have an open area to keep it. I wish the leaves were more full and realistic looking.

Saw one of these on Skymall when I was a kid but they were like $400. This was such an adult purchase to hide the little box but not have it be so ugly. Little difficult to get top on but you get used to it.

Es el segundo que compro , nadie sabe que es un arenero , queda muy decorativo en cual sitio de la casa , yo le pongo piedras blancas bajo la planta y se ve genial
