I was nervous buying a refurbished item from Amazon but this access point has worked great with no trouble. I easily added this to the our Google Nest WiFi network.

Works perfectly to expand our mesh network in our home. I have it on the first floor, but it helps extend our network coverage to the second floor and our into the yard. Purchased with the mount. Easy to set up, and you dont notic it behind the couch. Great purchase’

Our house is roughly 3000 sq ft, and our router is not in a very central location. We were having issues with devices maintaining consistent strong connection in the areas of the house that were far away from the router. I bought a 3 pack of these (2 access points + 1 router), and after setting them up, our issues are completely gone. It took maybe 30-45 minutes to set them all up including creating and organizing rooms on the google home app to help with voice activation of the smart lights set up in the rooms. The instructions are very easy and the app guides you through setting them up step-by-step. You don't need to be extremely knowledgeable with technology to get them working. Keep in mind the router version and access point version are two different but similar products.

I have to say, I was a little disappointed with how many physical flaws existed on this renewed product. For a Wi-Fi point, I wouldn’t expect this much damage (scratches, etc) on the face of the device even for a renewed product. Since I just needed one add-on point, I didn’t want to buy an entire kit new to get it. I thought going renewed would be the way to go. I still think it was the best route, but nearly $80 for a scratch and dent device seems a little much. Luckily, I can conceal this device somewhere where it won’t be an eye sore. Overall, the product worked great and as desired. Just dirty and dented up.

Located the point one room away and in direct line of sight of my Google router. Successfully added the point via the Google home app. Mesh tested good with "excellent" signal strength. Use a wi-fi signal strength test app before and after installing the point to test signal strength at various positions in both rooms. With the point online and allowing time for the mesh to settle, the point provided absolutely no increase (or change) in wi-fi coverage. As far as I can tell, though the Google Home app, says it is working, it is absolutely not. Another screen in Google Home says it's offline. Very curious. I think this device is DOA.

I needed one more access point for my network, so I could get Internet connectivity to my shop. This was the perfect solution. Others mentioned that their refurbished devices were scratched. Mine too was scratch a bit, but a spray of a bleach cleaner removed the black marks. This could be easily resolved by the refurbishing company putting the power adapter in a bag, then adding it to the box, instead of it loosely moving around marring the point. No issue for me since it cleaned up and the device was headed to the shop anyway.

Using extra mesh wifi to extend coverage but it’s not good as expected, even test mesh results show a great connection. Set up has one Google mesh and 2 extended wifi: 1st extended wifi shows throughput around 200-300mbps but the 2nd shows ~10-30mbps even signal strength ~50-60dbm and great test mesh connections

El Google Nest funciona bien, pero es sorprendente, ya que el repartidor arrojó la caja por encima de una puerta de 4 metros de altura. ¡El peor servicio de entrega de la historia!

Compré el producto porque necesitaba un tercer punto de acceso a mi malla de Google Wifi. El producto como tal es muy bueno, pero el re acondicionamiento es muy malo.VenÃa todo manchado en la parte superior, parecÃa que alguien lo rayó con un lápiz blando y asà lo enviaron, de hecho el cargador también traÃa manchas. Se pudo quitar quizá un 80% de todas esas marcas con un limpiador casero, pero no me parece correcto que lo anuncien como "está en excelentes condiciones" cuando tiene detalles cómo este.El producto es bueno, pero no recomiendo comprarlo con este distribuidor, busquen otra opción.
