I laid this on top of a hat I am in the process of crocheting. While I am not sure I like it with this color of raffia, I'm also going to be making some other colors and I bet something will be ideal!This is, as most sparkly things are, a bit scratchy. Not bad but I don't think you'd want it on your skin for too long. I can see it used for sweater embellishment if you are knitting one with a button band, same goes for crochet projects. Sewing might be good with the caveat of I'm not sure how many washings it could handle. For a handbag though it'd be great!It's nicely stored on its spool and it is an inexpensive and fun item to add to your crafting supplies!

This is a nice quality trim it doesn’t fray and is soft and flexible. The colors are nice and the gold is shiny without being brassy.
