This piping is too small for upholstery. It is fine for small decorative pillows, and purses, and handbags, light duty bags. This could also be used for costumes. It is nice piping. I am looking forward to using it.

I attempted to use this piping in a dress I was making, but it didn't turn out well. The moment I cut it the metallic threads started to unravel. Perhaps it might be better suited for pillows instead.

They claim the spool of piping trim has 22 yards on it, but I measured the whole thing and it comes to 19.2222 yards. Not cool, you shorted me out of three yards that could have been used for other projects. Also, it would be helpful if the product had information as to whether it would be suitable for crafts, garments or upholstery. The weight and size of the piping trim is most suitable for garments or crafts, definitely not suitable for upholstery projects.
