This item is just perfect for blocking the cold air from entering into the hall area of my home. I used it in front of a pocket door and even without the adhesive tape, it fits well and stays in place perfectly to create a seal from the draft. It’s strong, heavy, and a great neutral color that matches my gray wood floors.

First, the good. I give this draft stopper 5 stars, but only if they can be applied effectively to your situation. They are very well constructed, weighty, and non-slip. That is where it stops. We have normal exterior doors and just wanted to block the drafty bitter cold (it was single digits here in Ohio. One of the doors is in a cantilevered bay window that hangs over the foundation, so really gets cold. At first we rolled up a towel and that worked perfectly at stopping the draft and it made a very noticeable difference. It just does not look great! So we ordered two of these draft stoppers. The issue is that they are fairly solid, shaped, and are not fluffy at all. Our door has a shoe molding that sits in front of the threshold on the inside that sticks out about an inch. So there is no way this draft stopper is going to hug where the door meets the threshold and the threshold meets the floor because it is an irregular shape. So the towel worked great because you can press the towel to conform to the shape. Second, the draft stopper is exactly 36", so the edge of the door are not sealed against the lower door frame. Ideally the draft stopper should be made of a fluffy fleece material with a 1" nap (like a fluffy throw blanket rolled into a loose roll). This way you can press it into the corner where the door meets the floor and the nap will fill in all the gaps. So this product works great if you have a door that comes straight down into the floor with no irregularities, but a fluffy material would still work much better, and they should be longer to overlap the door edges. The loops on the end also seem like clutter. That is our experience, so we sent them back. But still a great product if your situation can handle the way it is designed.

I didn’t plan to add the Velcro piece, but finally did and sooo glad I did! The piece remains on the floor, on top of a flat rug, and slides easily when we open the door. So it blocks the air at the bottom very well, we don’t have to move it every time we open the door, and it’s pretty! I would definitely recommend this product.

Based on the pictures I thought this would be much more dense, like a weighted blanket. But actually it's pretty light and flexible. This will stop a draft, if that is your only issue. But the claims of stopping bugs and critters from getting in, I'm doubtful of.The build quality is decent otherwise, and it would stop cold drafts from coming in under the door which keeps the room slightly cooler. I just put it down in front of the door and pushed it into place to make sure it made a good seal.

I bought 3 of these to extend across an 8-foot sliding glass door in my 1960's home. The dog's bed was previously in front of the door blocking drafts, but with it gone, I could feel them for the first time. It was enough to make the room cooler than I wanted it to be. Since I still need the door to open, I didn't use the enclosed adhesive strips. Before putting the draft stoppers in place, I used my husband's infrared thermometer to measure the temperature at the base of the door where the drafts were coming in. It read 46 degrees F. I lay the blockers snuggly against the bottom of the door all the way across, then I took the temperature in the same location as before. It now read 61 degrees F. That was enough to tell me they were getting the job done.I'm pleased that they are well-made, sturdy, and firm. The material feels substantial. I appreciate the weights on the bottom that help keep them in place. I am not a fan of the handles, though they are well-made and look attractive. One would be enough for me, but I understand the need for 2 if folding it in half to hang. Using 3 blockers end to end, I found the handles cumbersome in trying to get them to align. I realize that most consumers will not have this situation. I am very happy that they are not unattractive since that would detract from my decor. The fabric and handles look like quality materials so they are not distracting at all.

This is too lightweight to properly keep a seal.

This is nice looking and has some weight to it. It comes with velcro loops and hook but we havent decidedif we are going to attach it to the door. It stays where we put it so far and it blocks that spot where cold air was coming in. I like it

Lo use para evitar que entren los bichos rastreros, tales como las arañas, cochinillas tijerillas y algunos otros.
