Gorilla Waterproof Patch & Seal Tape Clear instantly seals out water, air, and moisture. With an extra thick adhesive layer and UV resistant backing this tape conforms to form a permanent bond indoors and out. At 4" wide use it to patch holes, cracks, gaps and tears, even underwater. DIRECTIONS:
For best results, apply the tape to a clean surface at room temperature.
1. Keeping liner on tape, cut tape to desired size. Tape size should be larger than the repair area, extending beyond all edges.
2. Remove the release liner and place tape over desired repair area. Tape cannot be repositioned once applied.
3. Rub entire surface of the tape aggressively,especially the edges.
STORAGE: Store tape on the top and bottom disc at room temperature. Edges of tape may be sticky.
SERVICE TEMP: -70°F - 180°F
Performance will be dependent on surfaces & conditions. Surfaces must be clean, smooth and non-porous. Water must be pressed out from underneath tape. Not for use on seams, applications under pressure (e.g. garden hoses), or automotive applications under the hood. May not adhere to silicone or water-repellent materials. May not work for all types of plastics and rubbers. Do not use to hang. Tape must make complete contact with surface to properly seal. Ensure water and air is pressed out and there are no wrinkles or gaps in the tape. Exposure to UV, high heat or humidity may cause product to yellow over time. Permanent: may damage surface if removed.

The tape is only sticky on one side. It has a film covering it, so in essence both sides are film-coated. So as long as you don't peel the film off the unused tape on the roll, you'll be just fine.This tape holds really well. I'm hoping it works as promised to keep air out.Update: it does!

This will stick to itself and be unusable if you don't just unroll exactly what you are about to use. Don't be like me and ruin one of the two rolls because you weren't fast enough. Be fully prepared to stick it when you unroll it b/c you cant move it

I bought this to fix a leaking garden hose, that had been run over by a car too many times. This was in the middle of the hose, and I did not want to cut and splice the hose. This tape stopped the leak.

I simply needed to patch a small crack in a CPVC pipe temporarily, until I could get a replacement pipe (etc) purchased and installed. It's part of my lawn sprinkler system.Unfortunately, I came to realize packing tape would have worked worked just as well as this did!If you watch my video, you will see how easy it was for me to lift the Gorilla tape off the pipe, even though I waited 48 hours before doing so.The pictures were taken after I had scooped out the wasted water that had FILLED the hole overnight.I have used this brand's masking tape in the past and liked the quality, but this version is USELESS on wet CPVC pipe (which I DID wipe clean before applying the tape.)Note that this was my THIRD attempt at getting this to leak sealed with this product. First i tried a large piece... then I tried a smaller horizontal piece... then a vertical piece. None of these three attempts/sizes/methods worked.Note that I DID follow the instructions as far as not overlapping the tape.I also kept pressure on it after I initially applied it... But as you can see, it was a waste of my time and money.This was a major disappointment, yet I can't get my money back because the package has been opened and used.Please do yourself a favor if you need to make a leak repair to a CPVC/PVC pipe.... Buy a different brand.I wish I had gone with the competitor (which starts with an 'F').

I purchased the Gorilla Waterproof Patch & Seal Tape to help with a small crack on the bumper of my car. Even after thoroughly cleaning the surface, the tape would not adhere to the bumper. I like that it’s clear, so it blends in without being too noticeable. It’s also a bit thicker than some other tapes I’ve used, which makes it feel durable and sturdy.However, I found that it didn’t hold up as long as I expected. After a few days, I noticed the edges started to peel, especially when exposed to cold temperatures and snow. It’s definitely a good quick fix, but for long-term use, I would suggest looking into something more heavy-duty.Overall, it's a decent product for short-term repairs, but I wouldn't rely on it for long-lasting results. A solid 3-star rating due to its convenience, but it fell short of my expectations for durability.

Last July, our travel trailer awning developed a small tear (roughly 8-10" long) where it connects to the leading edge of the motorized roller. I used this tape on the top and bottom of the awning. It held up well from July to October, and you would not know it is there unless you knew to look closely. This coming season April-October we will find out how the repair holds up for the long term.

This is the best to a quick and reliable fix for small holes or leaks on above ground pool .Just set up our intex above ground pool ( 14 ft long 5ft wide ) about half way through filling it and I noticed there were a couple small holes in a corner leaking out water luckily I had some of this from last year and was able to fix right away . This stuff work on dry or wet surfaces of pool liner and will stop leaking from small holes .. I will tell u the white tape sticks and holds up better then the clear not sure why that is but it does I just bought 2 more to have on hand in case I find anymore leaks or something happens over the summer definitely beats having to buy a whole mother liner or pool

Used it for above ground pool (Bestway). Didn’t have to drain the pool. 2 weeks in and still no leaks!
