This is just perforated aluminum can. A June bug could punch a hole in this at 50mph easily. This is not made for car grills at all

I damaged the plastic grill on my tractor and the replacement is well over $100. The solid plastic is fine, it's just the mesh part that lets air flow to the radiator. Of course you can't buy just that piece. This mesh insert will work just fine. The plastic is gray while this is black but they are close enough that I doubt anyone will know.This comes rolled up tightly. It's easy to unroll but it does take a bit of finesse to get it perfectly flat. The aluminum does bend pretty easily so I don't think I would want it for large flat openings. But smaller curved ones it'll work good for. It's very easy to cut. Tin snips cut it like butter. Simply make a template and transfer it to the mesh material.I would imagine if you wanted to make custom air intakes on a car bumper it would do well. It would also do well if you wanted to make a cover for a fresh air intake for a car cabin filter to protect it from mice.
