Our guest bed is a German bunk bed so the mattress has about a six inch gap on it. Originally I wanted to just fill it but decided to add a headboard pillow instead. This foam was absolutely perfect. Not that it matters to you, but it was the exact size I needed and it felt magical, you know. Like when do you ever get the chance to buy exactly what you need for a diy with no leftovers??Anyways, I used the 24x72†(5†thick firm) to made the gap filler pillow (the white one) and then added a second pillow that overlaps the mattress a little (the teal one) to add more of a buffer to the floating shelf. Since adults sleep on this bed, I wanted to make sure no one hit their head on it, as it’s a little intrusive. The firmness was perfect, soft but really supportive. When leaning on it with a good book in hand for a while, it didn’t buckle or sink and I never hit the little shelf. As far as working with the material, it was really easy to cut. Since I got the 5†thick one, I had to make multiple passes with my trusty snap blade, but it when through with ease. Some tips though: mark out a line on three sides to make sure you’re staying perpendicular and not making an angled cut; hold the blade at a 45° angle and pull, if you feel resistance you will get pills and a messy cut. I only had a few little foam fuzzies to pick up at the end!Overall I will be purchasing all my upholstery and cosplay foam from here because I just loved working with it. I felt like the price was good for material that was simultaneously easy to work with and functioned extremely well.

Purchased a firm and a semifirm 6" cushion to use in my van build for a sofa/bed. The feel of the cushions is very similar and if I didn't know they were two differnt densities I would think they were the same. That said, I've had the Firm one for several months and used it multiple times so it may have softened a bit to replicate the feel of the SemiFirm one. Both of the cushions are pretty firm but very comfortable sitting and laying on. They are very supportive and make a great bed for my purposes. The foam does not compress very much-- maybe 3 inches wherever the greatest amount of weight is. For reference this is used for 125lb and 165lb adults. Both of these cushions were received quickly, neatly rolled and in pristine condition. I unrolled the cushions immediately upon arrival. I didn't have any issues with them and they lay flat. There was a very slight smell to them that was not offensive and that very quickly dissipated. Overall a great product for our purposes as a sofa and a bed. Would definitely buy again from this seller.

Gave new life to our old couch. Our couch cushions were sagging so badly. I cut this to size and put them in the old cushion covers with the old batting on them and then let them rise for 2 days while we were away and came home to a like new couch. I ordered another roll of it to do the matching oversize chair as well. Make sure you let the cushions get dense for 2 days before you use them or they won't get to their full potential. The couch is comfortable again and feels like new. They are easy to cut and squish into the covers when it is just opened. I cut it will a knife and had all 3 cushions covers emptied, cleaned (vacuumed) and the new cushions cut and inserted in about an hour.

The foam came securely wrapped. One edge was a little curled but it straightened right out after laying it flat. The foam has no chemical smell and is very firm. Exactly what I wanted. BUT, it was delivered to the wrong address. Fortunately, my neighbors know me and brought it to my house.

I have a lot of chronic pain and I’ve always had to try to create a zero gravity kind of environment on my bed in order to lessen the pain when I sleep—usually with several feather beds, eggshells, memory foam mattress covers, pillows, blankets, towels in there—whatever makes it even and comfortable until a sleep number bed comes into the picture. I needed a new solution for my bed drama. I got two of these 5†semi-firm. And then tried just laying on those two in bed to lay on top of. Too firm. So what I did was used a big long bread knife and cut one into long strips. Then I put the strips together and duct taped them loosely to give more movement and less hard surface area. Then put that on my bed, added layers on top. Perfect solution. I had been having to recreate/reassemble this craziness every couple nights. Now it lasts for weeks. Huge. I also used part of the other one and cut it in strips (so I had 6 strips each 12â€x24â€) and laid three lengthwise across and underneath the couch cushions that I primarily sit on. then I stacked the other 3 on top of the first three so it was 3 strips w two layers each (12x24) under where my two couch cushions come together that I primarily use. Over the last couple years since I got this couch, as the cushions compressed, I had been shoving several blankets and pillows under in this area of it to try to help the pain in my hip when I laid on my side. It felt like I wasn’t even on cushions but was feeling the support bars for the couch. Hurt a ton hence why I’d been shoving padding under that section. This product, cut up in that way, immediately solved the problem on the couch hurting my hip. And now the couch lays evenly vs this huge budge of padding. So love these two solutions I was able to find w this. Total life change in the pain dept. not only that, these are so much more sturdy and HALF the price and thicker than traditional eggshells or even memory foam. We have a few left over strips that I’ll find a use for but wanted to share my trick of what I did to solve that semi-firm was still able to be comfortable for someone w a lot of pain by cutting into strips, taping back together to take even a bit more of the firm out. Super easy to cut w that bread knife. My man was trying to use a carpenter’s knife and it just caused chunks to come off and go everywhere. Bread knife is ur best bet if it’s sharp! Totally love these will buy again in the future. The reviews are what sold me on this product and I now echo them. Great product, arrived fast and has really impacted my life in terms of pain, hassle and even esthetic w not now having this huge bulge on my couch where all the padding was. Don’t hesitate this stuff rocks.

Used this to put on top of and old spare bed for comfort, and it worked perfectly, didn't want to pay lots of money for a new mattress so put this on top to stop feeling the spring, its a spare bed so only gets slept in occasionally. very comfortable and save lots of money.

Have 2 couches in good shape but the cushions were sagging badly.Custom foam stores wanted over $400 to replace 4 seat cushions!Bought this foam and in an hour had two couches that are like new!! Good, firm foam, packaged in quite small box,no smell, easy to cut(measured, marked with a chalk marker, cut with a large bread knife and then a utility knife on my second set, didn’t use any batting, slipped into covers easily) Strongly recommend.
