The large metal Schaller-style knob is the same as found on many modern guitars. 10mm (13/32")-diameter pegholes required. Sets include mounting screws and threaded hex bushings.
Installation Tips
Mounting screws: Pilot holes required. Installing delicate screws into hard wood requires great care and accuracy. We highly recommend a No.50 bit for the pilot hole before installing these screws. Lubricate the screw threads with cutting lubricant (also wax or a bar of soap) to reduce friction and help them thread properly.

Endless tuning machines to my Walden O550E is a significant upgrade.It took me about 10 minutes to take off my old machines and put on the new ones perfect fit!Just make sure you have the right tools, the proper wrench and screwdriver, which I purchased on Amazon as well.

I found these for a smokin price. I ordered them for my Epiphone SG Standard. They didn't fit in the tuning peg hole. I had to have them drilled out at the shop. Now that they're in they're nice and clean and function well.

These Gotoh tuning machines fit my Orangewood Morgan Mahogany Live perfectly. The tuners that came stock did work fine, but I didn’t prefer the black buttons.Putting these Gotoh brand “Schaller-type†tuners on was a breeze. The 10 mm post diameters are exactly the same. They fit perfectly and needed no change to the bore of the post holes. Also, the screws lined up exactly the same as the stock tuners.While the Orangewood original tuners held pitch well, they weren’t as smooth as these. These are actual Gotoh tuners that came in the right packaging and have the official “G†logo. I paid $30, while other retailers charge $52 for the same exact model number. I recommend these if you prefer smoother “turning†(not tuning) machines with chrome buttons.

These tuners went right on. I did find that on my guitar the fasteners were not quite deep enough, and I could only get a couple of threads on. It seemed like enough to hold them in place, but. A little shorter than my old ones. They seem stable and feel really smooth! I would buy these again.
