These Govee Christmas Lights are hands down the best holiday lights I’ve ever bought. They’re so cool! Each light can be a different color, and you can pick from millions of options. The way the lights flow and change colors is honestly so pretty. I’ve used them on my Christmas tree, my patio, and even some plants inside, and they always look amazing.There are tons of presets—like over 125 different modes—so no matter what vibe you’re going for, there’s something that works. I’ve used them for Christmas, parties, and even just for fun, and they make everything feel more festive. The music sync feature is probably my favorite, though. The lights actually move to the beat of the music, which makes them perfect for parties or just dancing around the house.They’re also super durable. They’re waterproof, can handle the cold, and are flexible enough to wrap around anything. I don’t have to worry about them breaking or not holding up outdoors, which is a big deal.Another cool thing is the DIY options. You can create your own effects or even upload a picture or text to inspire a new look. It’s super easy to use, and you can make something totally unique without spending a ton of time.Honestly, these lights are just awesome. I have lots of Govee products, and with the exception of one, I have been really pleased.I’ll start with the installation of this product. It wasn’t as simple as some people make it out to be. The nets come largely tangled and you have to spend some time getting it just right. But after it’s installed, the lights look amazing.There are lots of different scenes and modes in the Govee app as well as DIY options. It’s really fun to set a different scene every day or let your kids design their own.The reason I knocked off one star would be it comes with a similar controller as the outdoor lights, and these have been known to fail. I don’t foresee the indoor lights failing since they will be inside, but as frustrating as it was dealing with the outdoor lights, I’ve lost a little confidence in Govee.I would definitely recommend this product if you want something different and something to make people say, “wow that’s really cool!†when they see it.

This was a very straight forward set up. Just attach to the top of the tree and drape the light cords down. We don’t have an Alexa, but the instructions were very clear. The app is a great feature that only took a few minutes to connect to the lights. The app was easy to download and connected right away. App has a lot of features that allow you to adjust all aspects of the light show and also has an Auto Play feature. The vertical light strings are a lot more convenient to set up, as opposed to string lights that must be walked around the tree a couple times. We also live in a cat-friendly home and these lights are durable enough to take all the abuse the cats can dish out. Overall a great buy and good value for the money. Looks great and the app provides a lot of functionality, even without Alexa
