With 0.001μm precision, the GOYOJO Surface Roughness Tester serves a wide range of industries. From manufacturing to automotive and electronics, its digital convenience and durability ensure reliable surface assessments.

How It Works:

When measuring surface roughness, the GOYOJO Surface Roughness Tester places the sensor on the surface and then uniformly slides it along the surface using the internal mechanism. The sensor captures surface roughness with its sharp built-in probe. This roughness causes displacement in the probe, leading to a change in the induction quantity of the induction coil, thereby generating an analog signal proportional to the surface roughness at the output of the phase-sensitive rectifier.

This is a modern model of a roughness meter with the ability to measure several roughness parameters. This device can be successfully used in a wide range of industries and research laboratories. Works well, I'm happy with this purchase

This device does the basic surface roughness measurement alright, but the raw dataset (i.e. the surface profile curve data) could not be exported at all, either by using the micro-SD card or direct USB connection. The SAVE button on the device did not appear to work either. There is no information from the instruction manual to help diagnose the issue, and the customer support email is un-responsive.
