My daughter wore this for her 11th birthday party at a trampoline park. She wanted something dressy and "mature" but also...ready for play. This fit the bill and she got a lot of compliments. My daughter is average height and slim. I had to hem the legs by 4 inches and can tell it's also long overall on her, but it looked fine and was comfortable. It's a thick polyester and can withstand tailoring if the fit needs to be perfect.

This product is beautiful. Sizing is off. They are made bigger. I got a 10/12 and it was huge and had to be fixed. My daughter is 10. I got a 10/12. 8 is too small and 10 is barely fitting because of height. But this we had to take 4 inches off of the pant legs and tack the top.
