I really love the color of this top. I wanted to like it but the material feels very course and is not soft at all. Feels like someone wove burlap. Another issue is when it is laying flat, the material looks like it is pulling against the buttons. When you put it on in my case, and it was loose, it gaped. They needed to have the buttons closer together or something but this is not good. It is slightly longer than a crop top. I do not recommend it.

This vest is very cute. I like the tighter weave of the knit, the flattery v-neck and the lace knit detail at the bottom hem. The fabric is soft and it's easy to care for. I chose classic black but there are many nice colors to choose from. This vest can be worn with a tee or blouse underneath or by itself without being see through. It can be paired with any bottom: shorts, skirts, skorts, capri pants and jeans. I wore mine with white jeans and it was really sharp looking together.

The knit fabric this is made of is a much nicer quality than a lot of these knitted vests available on Amazon but the fit was a bit off. I expected that based on where it was manufactured and the nature of knitted garments, so I ordered one size up. The larger size fits right and my measurements put me at the top end of the size I should have been. So, I’d recommend sizing up unless, perhaps, you are at the bottom of the given range.The lace on the hem is delicate and feminine and it will look just as nice buttoned as it will unbuttoned for a different look. A note on body type: I am less than 6 months postpartum from my third baby and my mommy belly is still fairly prominent. This vest is not very shaped and hides that belly as nicely as any knitted garment could… without looking like I am wearing a bag. I’d like it for that alone!The only thing that could make it better would be if it were a natural fiber. I don’t think I could wear it at all in Texas in the summer. It just traps too much heat being polyester and all. Also probably not desirable for those ladies experiencing hot flashes.
