I bought two frames with no mat. They were perfect for our diplomas! I wanted something nice, light weight, and easy to hang. This has the clips to hang or standing on a shelf. You have to bend the clips back, so just be careful not to break. There is a thin film on both sides of the thick, plastic glass - have to peel both sides. It's not real glass, but that's fine with me. The frame is nice and good quality. I like it for the price of two!

I was a bit surprised when I received my doctorate degree in the mail. I half expected it to be framed as the degree costed hundreds of thousands of dollars. After searching around for a while, I found this frame and I was really surprised. It not only looks amazing when I put my degree in it, but it looks as good as some of the ones that I was looking at that were substantially more expensive.The quality of the frame is really good and solid. When the frame arrived, I was surprised to see that the glass had a protective film over it to ensure no marks, cracks, or scratches. After removing the film, and removing the backing to place my doctorate in the frame, it looks beautiful.
