The Grafco thermometer is just what I needed, no more scalding my foot. It was inexpensive and works well.

I bought this because it was the only bath thermometer I could find that went above 50 degrees Celsius. I like 46 to 48 and don't want a thermometer that will break if I misjudge the temp. However, this floats flat on the water. So you can't just drop it in and read it. You have to hold it under and wait for the temperature to register.I plan to attach a small weight to the bottom to resolve this. It should be fine with that modification in place. And none of the other options have sufficient range. So 4 stars.UPDATE: After only a few uses in a hot bath, the glue that holds the glass part in melted away. How can one use water-soluble (or perhaps heat-damageable) glue to build something that's only purpose is to sit in 45 degree C water? Dropping to 2 stars.

Thermometer is accurate, if you can take reading, which is difficult due to transparent fluid used for measuring temperature. I think it is overpriced.

Good to know the exact temp when you are sitting in a 60 gallon tub. It very easy to underestimate the water temp while sitting in the tub.
