This set replaced our almost Identical chairs, by the same manufacturer, that are over 20 Years Old! We still have one chair from the first set we purchased 38 years ago!FYI, these chairs have a flat spring recliner feature that limits the reclining distance. When those on our first of three sets were failing, I was able to order replacements. The second set never failed...Here's what I learned to enhance assembly. After the first chair, the other(s) are easy.1. Each box of 2 chairs weighs 30#s.2. Much time spent on unwrapping. A box cutter helps...3. Included is a Blister Pack of all necessary parts, plus a few extras, for the two chairs in each box. I highly recommend that you open each blister, and transfer those items to plastic cups that are identified with a marker. I didn't, and wasted time...4. I recommend that you save a couple of hours, and ignore the tools provided. You really need a socket wrench, and an open end / box end wrench. (Each is a different size.) The correct allen wrench in a hand driver is also better. You need the extra torque!5. Study each assembly illustration on the instruction page, and select the parts needed. During assembly leave fasteners finger tight. DO NOT put the plastic caps on fasteners until everything is assembled and tightened.6. The rod, with two fasteners on each end, goes across the back of the chair and fastens to the top screw holes. (Inverted Chair) I positioned mine at an angle that allowed me to access both fasteners on each side. If attached per the drawing, it's hard to fully tighten the screw underneath the bottom fasteners.7. Tighten everything as much as you feel like. I did, and nothing was stripped!8. The heaviest part is the device that attaches the chair top to the rotating wheel. The metal tube that attaches to the wheel goes towards the back area of the seat.

We have both small and large adults (145lbs-275lbs) in our family, and everyone comments on the chair's comfort. Not the easiest to put together, (and my husband has assembled at least 30 different furnishings over the years), but worth the time. Easy to swivel, only rock back a tiny bit, but enough that they're comfy. Beware, they are "Very Heavy", and the circular base can squash toes! We are in S.Fla, and have to drag them in for hurricanes. I might have reconsidered if I'd noticed the weight, but the comfort is worth it. We've had them for 14 months, and they get "lots" of sun and rain, but they still look like new. I will update when we need to replace them, hopefully several years from now! Great chairs!

So far so good. The chairs are as advertised. Very comfortable, ergonomic, sturdy. Time will tell if they're durable. My only complaint is the usual that the instructions are confusing at best. All the nuts, bolts, washers etc come in a blister pack with each being labeled alphabetically. However none of the labels correspond to the parts in the instruction. So there's a lot of guess work as to which size bolt goes where in the assembly. The video helped somewhat but not much. I had to take apart something I had bolted together several times and redo it which made the assembly more time consuming that it should have. Thus the 4 star review.

These chairs are a bargain at $120 each for 4, they are comfortable and swivel with a good bearing, and have a good well engineered design with quality hardware. Some basic assembly skills are required to assemble them, and a battery impact driver with a 5/32 hex bit, a 10mm socket, and a 13 mm socket will really speed things up. While the assembly is simple with good instructions on one page, and the parts are well marked, you might as well figure an hour to assemble two of these. After the first two it only took me ten minutes to assemble the next two. Assembly is basically three steps, two bolts to bolt the back together after you unfold it, bolting the arm on each side, and bolting the base bracket on the bottom, it could seem confusing to someone who has never assembled anything.

My husband and I bought these two dining chairs right before Christmas 2023. Delivery was about 5 days prior to the expected delivery date (nice!); however, we received the bar-height chairs vs. the dining chairs. We immediately went through the Amazon portal to report the error and get details of correcting the order. We worked with Sherry in customer service and she was extremely helpful! We followed her directions, and in less than a week we had received the correct chairs and a return label to ship the other chairs back.We find the quality of the Grand Patio chairs excellent - good looking, very sturdy and comfortable, and true to the description found on Amazon. Mostly, we appreciate the fantastic service we received. Sherry was the BEST and we send her a BIG HATS OFF for taking such good care of us!

Not that hard to put together but having 2 people is helpful through some steps.Chairs are comfortable and support my big behind. Nice looking too.I do need to give a big shout out to their customer service. While building the third of forth chairs, I found a defect in one of the parts. Rather than asking me to disassemble the first two for return, the customer service sent me a replacement part, that had to come from their mfg'ing site in China. The customer service was always prompt in their communications and were very supportive getting me the part in good time.I bought these chairs not only because of the reviews on quality, but as important, the customer service. They really came through for me.

The box arrived a bit beaten up. A couple parts damaged. Could have been damaged in shipping or maybe from the source. The box had been taped up where a part was pushing through. The chairs are nice and assembly was not bad. Gave three star rating based on the damage and not the chair itself.
