Best knee pads out there for mixed-martial arts! The sizing is spot on, and they stay in place when you are locking in those armbars, triangle chokes, and key locks from the ground.

fantastic knee pads. I bought them primarily for muay thai so i can throw knees without worrying about hurting my sparring partners too much. The pro coach asked we all get them to avoid injuries of our fighters (I was not used to used to this at a muay thai gym), but I have to admit they prevent incidental injuries to the soft parts of the knee that can occur. As far as for mma, these pads have a feature not listed on the product description that is fantastic: they are slated, like armor, to accommodate a moving knee. Basically, the padding is stack to facilitate easy flexion of the knee and allow the padding to cover both the striking surface AND any sliding you would do on the knee -say shooting for a takedown- preventing damage to partners and your own knees. One thing to note: although this product has a low (3/5 star rating at the time of me writing this), but only two bad reviews are for 1 star and:-the first one says they only received one pad instead of two. This is a shipping issue and not a product issue.-the second one ways the pads are fantastic, says nothing but positive things, but still gives the product only 1 star (i'm guessing it was a miss-click.Btw, i tried LITERALLY every pad on amazon, and these were easily the best. The venom pads were too tight to flex your knee comfortably. Most of the others are too soft, too bulky, or simply won't fit while wearing a shin guard.Easiest 5 star rating I've ever given.

While these are made very well, and sturdy, the sizing info may be a bit off. My daughter is 14, and she bought regulars, and they are too tight. She's in good shape, so even a petite adult woman would need extra large, and a grown man may not even be able to use the XL's based on this size. I ended up giving the regulars to my 10 year old son, and they fit him.

More for Muay Thai. Our son does Jiujitsui. He uses women’s volleyball knee pads. They are great and not to bulky

I have done MMA for 20ish years and these are the best I’ve used (besides these volleyball ones I can’t find a replacement of). They stay in place. Offer medium amounts of protection with little bulk. I use them with smaller shin guards and find the protection to mobility perfect for me.

I do a lot of martial arts training, from Kung Fu to Krav Maga to Brazillian Jiu Jitsu, and these are the best knee protection I can find to protect my 45 year old knees from throws and mat/floor-time. They do wear out and need to be replaced fairly consistently to maintain the level or protection, but I don't see how I can expect any less with my amount of activity.

Great if you have big legs. I tried all the Venum ones and even the largest one was to small.

Like other knee pads, thru just aren’t big enough for men.
