You gotta try this portable stereo. At first I was skeptical I’ll admit, but after receiving this a day ago I put it to the test and was very impressed! My favorite radio station that usually comes in weak on my other radio(s) I have been using, NOW comes in strong with this one. And the BLUETOOTH function work’s excellent. EVERYTHING I have BT connects! From headphones, earphones, speakers etc some quite new and older BT devices. That makes me very happy. The diversity of this unit is just awesome. Even my older IPod Nano 5th Gen that is loaded with tunes, all my CD’s, TF-cards I have, USB drives I have, and cassettes I have can now all be enjoyed on this ONE great unit. And the sound that comes from it is fresh crisp and clear , especially when you choose your favorable EQ setting that is at your fingertips. The portability and freedom of having its own on-board battery is a game changer too, at least for me. Im at the pool, at the pole-barn, around the house, or out in the back 40 , I’m lovin it. For being able to travel and listen to what you like in practically any format you choose to use, this is going to be my main go-to device I grab. It’s kinda nice to be excited about something these days and for me this is it. It reminds me of how excited I was when I got my first iPod!And the remote is the cherry on top. I now will embark on a mission to revisit my music and audio-book collections in a treehouse if I so desire, or ANYWHERE for that matter. Music and stories can touch your mind, people, and whoever else is within listening range and this portable unit can make that happen. I’m very pleased with owning this portable boom box.I feel like I went “Back to the Future “ literally.AND after the battery was FULLY charged, first thing you want to do when you first get it, I turned it on and the very first song I heard that had just started playing was:The theme to “Miami Viceâ€. to me that was so cool! Nicely done "boombox". Has all the format options that I find will be useful. Don't need to turn on the main audio system just to listen to a CD. The rechargeable battery feature is a plus.

I absolutely love this player. It remembers where you left off with your CD even if you turn off the player. I haven't used the cassette player, but I'm all in with the CD player. I can tuck it into the open space under my night stand. The remote is small and works well. It could stand, in my mind, to have a little more volume, but the sound overall is fine. It's compact, has a battery option, and looks great. This is one beautiful little cube.

remote only worked 6 inches away from product and user manual mentioned a control knob that didn't exist, Very disappointing cause it would have been perfect for the space it was to be placed. Was returned.

My mom received this cd/cassette player radio for Christmas. She loves that it handles all media formats, plus it's portable. The remote makes changing radio stations easy. Will update on quality if any issues arise, so far so good at 2 months.

This company has packed a lot into a small package and it sounds really good too! So the only thing I couldn't test was the tape deck because I just don't have any anymore. But everything else on it works as advertised or better. From the TF slot, to the Bluetooth and the CD Player. I have to say I am very impressed with this little player. When I connected my phone via BT, and listened to my playlist from it, the sound was incredible. I mean its not a $1000 Soundbar good, but its really good for its size. It has decent bass response, it doesn't sound hollow and tinny like so many small players do. It has a depth to the sound that is a pleasure to listen to, and best of all it won't take up a lot of room on your shelf. I wish they had found a way to put the USB jack on the front or even on top because if you have it on a shelf its a pain to get to the back and put a stick in. Also if its a long USB drive it may cause it to no longer fit on the shelf. So you may have to buy one of the newer short USB drives just to use the USB port. Not a huge issue I'm sure, because most people will probably just use BT, but its something I thought of when I was checking it out. The player has a rechargeable battery in it or you can use it plugged in, it just uses simple USB C as its charger. Brilliant. No weird charging pack. Overall I am impressed with this unit.

First things first - You'd be hard-pressed to find a device capable of playing media formats as diverse as this one - Tape, CD, SD Card, Bluetooth, FM Radio, USB, Aux IN via 3.5mm cable are all here and all work as expected. This in itself makes this a desirable item if you want to dust off those Tapes or CDs, while still being able to leverage modern features.The form factor is another bonus, comprising of a cube with a footprint that is slightly larger than 6-7 stacked CDs in jewel cases.Battery lasts quite a long time form my testing. From my testing it went about a week and a half of almost daily usage (of 1hr-2hr each) on FM radio. This is the best case scenario though as that doesn't include any moving parts or bluetooth radio, but still, I thought it was really good.Buttons for the CD/Tape work as expected, and provide all the desired functionality. I had no issues with usability, but do keep in mind that some buttons serve dual purpose which changes depending on what functionality the unit operates in. In addition, some functionality is accessible by holding a button so be sure to check the manual in case something doesn't seem to be working as expected.Being able to record to Tape is a blast from the past too and a feature that not many people would care for, but man does it invoke feelings of nostalgia if it is something you used to do back in the day.Areas for improvement- Sound - Ok this is the big one. Sound is passable for a campsite or worksite, but definitely lacks bass definition. There is rudimentary EQ with several presets that is built-in, but those help only a little bit. The unit does have 2x speakers on the side and what appears to be a small woofer on the bottom, but it just leaves me wanting little bit more. Volume on the other hand is actually pretty good, the unit can get louder than expected. Aux out would've been a good idea as well, as having this at home you can hook it up to larger speakers, but if you need to take it to the road/campsite you can use the built-in speakers.- Design-wise - you can't really deploy the handle if you've extended the FM antennae. Not a big deal, but it is a bit of an oversight.Overall, I think this is a good unit, it's pretty much unparalleled from media compatibility standpoint

I almost said perfect for "kids" who want to get into physical media, but maybe you grew up with tapes and CDs, you still have the albums, but your player is long gone. This is a simple and versatile way to get back up and running. Vintage tape decks are getting harder to come by (especially those that don't need at least a cursory service or some TLC), so I was pretty surprised to see a new production.In addition, this plays everything else under the sun and accepts Bluetooth streaming... what more could you ask for?The other reviewer who's never seen these two formats together before was obviously not alive during the 90s when everyone and his dog had a portable player like this. Thankfully, you can charge this one and it doesn't take $45 of C or D sized batteries! For a day at the beach, this is a pretty sweet unit.I will say this too... making a mixed tape with this guy is a lot of fun. I had my students do it as a class project actually, and it was awesome! They just set up playlists on their devices, hooked them up to this this, and hit record. They decorated the J-cards and had some pretty cool, one-of-a-kind items. Rediscover the awesomeness of making a mixed tape. It's a heck of a lot more personalized than just sharing a link.CDs are also the bargain of modern audio. I can remember paying $20-$35 buck a pop back in the day... there are thousands of them sitting on racks in thrift shops for a quarter a piece... and the good old 44.1k sample rate sounds pretty darn good compared to highly compressed MP3 files.

This multifunction player is useable and good fun for a bit while you go through your old zippered cd case and stacks of burned cds, and cassette tapes! The player itself is pretty good, cds and cassettes both play well and cds queue up quickly.Where the 3 star rating comes from is the speaker though. It’s a pretty small stereo, but the speaker is pretty bad just no clarity or balance. It sounds like an iphone speaker but bigger. So don’t expect much if anything for any type of sound quality. Again, good for fun or some nostalgic listening. If you want a proper player with good SQ, keep looking.

I ordered this portable boombox to play some of my CDs when I am outside.The boombox arrived very well-packaged. It comes with a remote control, an AUX cable, a USB charging cable, and a user manual.I was quite surprised to see everything that was packed into this small boombox.It has a CD player on top and a cassette player on the front. You can also play music through Bluetooth, the aux-in jack, the USB jack, and a micro SD card.The first thing I tried was Bluetooth pairing which was done very easily. The sound quality is good and louder than expected. It is perfect when sitting outside and wanting to listen to your music.The cassette tape player can also record and you can record from whatever source your music is coming from.After 3 hours of charging you can use this for up to 16 hours before having to charge again.The remote is a nice touch and you can control all of the functions with the remote.This boombox has a cool retro feel to it but has all the features using modern technology.It is a great all-in-one player for any of your music.I am very happy with this boombox. The price is very reasonable and I do recommend it.
