Others are not as good. Just don’t leave a battery on the charger ifYou see the red X when going toRecharge a battery.., you lose theCharger AND the battery…I lostA “Extended Run†battery whichOnly comes with a new mower.

My original charger wouldn't charge my battery's anymore and I knew 2 battery's couldn't have went bad at same time.So I ordered thus replacement charger . It's different than my original this one lays battery down my original had battery stand upright.It works buy it.

I have purchased many 80v Greenworks products (e.g., lawn mower, leaf blower) and have been very satisfied with the products themselves. However, I have had issues with the batteries and battery chargers failing.On the plus side, when the failures have occurred within the warranty period (even with refurbished units), Greenwood has promptly sent me replacements (that may be an advantage of purchasing directly from Greenworks). The one charger I ordered through Amazon and paid for was to replace one that was not covered under the warranty for some reason that I no longer remember.With the thought that the charger failures may have been made more likely because I used to leave them powered on all the time, I now turn the power off when they are not in use.

Flashes red if the battery is no good, that feature alone just saved me a few hundred $ by testing bad used batteries!
