I’m new to the electric guitar, but this inspires me to play more often and stays in better tune than my acoustic, I love the way it looks and sounds

A welcome addition to The Stable.Nicest thing is being a hollow body. You can play it using bends, slides, hammer on and off without it needing amplification. Able to use it unplugged and thus not disturbing anyone else in the house.I still have the original strings on it and love them. I will replace though once I find just what brand/style these original strings are.

This instrument is beautiful. The quality of the construction is almost flawless. The only problem I have, is the pick up selector switch that is giving me problems with the bridge Pick up at the bottom position. At the top position, I get beautiful thick, clean tones. The middle position, I can adjust the tone beautifully, for clean rhythms and lead. At the bottom position, it completely cuts out sometimes and I get absolutely no sound. It’s very frustrating.! I do not want to send this guitar back. However, I will continue working with this Gretsch guitar, and hopefully I can get things cleared up with the bottom selector switch position. For now, I am giving it four stars. If it wasn’t for the pick up selector switch fading out, it would be a five star rating for sure.

This guitar sounds incredible and looks amazing. The craftsmanship punches way above its weight class. Playability is excellent, versatility is phenomenal, the pups are iconic. Only caveat would be to know and research the capabilities of a bigsby tremolo system. This guitar will stay in tune, but you better know how to treat a bigsby right to make it that way.My advice for staying in time: higher gauge strings, nut and saddle lubrication, and be patient with new strings - will take a few days to break a new set in.Once you learn her ways she is going to treat you, right.Been playing 27 years. Not super important. Just adding for context.
