This is an excellent product. I was planning on having an electrician put in an overhead light for my grill. Then I found this product and voila!! Only quibble is I wish it were rechargeable because I hate buying batteries. Oh well...

I have been using these lights for years they are very bright and have a awesome battery life i have 2 on my grill and they work very well. We use our grill about 5 days a week so these lights are used often with no issues

I purchased this light as a gift for my husband. It has held up great on his BBQ pit. It is light weight and holds up great with the clamp. It has been through rain and it still works. The only complaint my husband had was the button was a little too sensitive so if he accidently touched it the light would turn on. I would still recommend this product.

Although I have not grilled anything since I installed it, it seems to be fairly easy to use and will do the job very well. I don’t know why, but I tended to put some of the batteries in backwards as soon as I figured that out it worked fine. I guess it was a senior moment.

The light died after only 6 or 7 uses. Puts out a decent amount of light when it works but after just turning it on 3 times the batteries needed changing. Changed the batteries and again it worked for 3 or 4 times and died again. Changed the batteries yet again and this time it won't come on at after. Tried a different set of batteries and still not working. Tested the batteries which are good.

the on off switch on the top did not work. I returned it to Amazon and got a new one the next day and the light can now be turned on and off. Now I love the light which is very bright and covers my whole 26" Blackstone. A neccesity if you want to cook after sundown.

A bit awkward to control as you always need to rotate the lights every time you close the cover. Not as bright as advertised. I would not buy again.

Got this as a Christmas gift for the hubby. Just running out of ideas and I thought why not, we BBQ in the winter when it gets dark early? He opened it and said he liked it but I could tell he was skeptical.Then he used it, and now its his FAVOURITE gadget.He uses it in so many places other than JUST the BBQ. He uses it in our basement crawlspace, he uses to fidget with his truck motor when its pitch dark out. He uses it if he thinks he heard a noise in the woods, he uses it if he loses track of the dog in our big backyard. He used it to illuminate the back of the TV to hook up my Switch, he used it to locate the kitten under a dresser. He used it looking for a particular puzzle to get out from under the bed. He used it to illuminate a dark spot in a closet he was digging around in (not sure for what). Yeah, I wasn't kidding - he uses this thing for soooo much more than BBQing. He has already put it on the list of "must take" items for our trailer camping. Maybe I need to buy another?

This lamp gives a lot of light and illuminates the whole cooking surface on my Weber Genesis 2. There are two things that reduced my rating to 3 stars.The switch to turn it on is way to sensitive, and when positioned on the grill handle to illuminate the cooking surface, the lamp interferes with closing the BBQ lid, to close the lid you must reposition the lamp.
