Awesome skewers! They are substantial enough in size to hold a lot of stuff without bending all over the place, but not so heavy to be annoying to work with. I wasn't thinking about this when I bought them, but the flat skewer (as opposed to round) helps food stay in place when skewered, preventing it from rotating while cooking.You'll definitely benefit from some heat-resistant gloves so you can turn your skewers on the grill without having to mess around with tongs, and to make use of the neat slider. I like that you have to squeeze the slider to engage it so you'll never accidentally empty a skewer on the grill. But when you're done grilling, you can dump everything on a bed of rice or whatever and get that skewer loaded up and back on the grill for the next person.If you thought 10 sliders is a lot and maybe too many (like me), you'll be surprised how quick they get used up. Now that I have them, 10 seems like the perfect amount... I've got a 3-burner grill and 10 loaded skewers takes up pretty much the whole bottom surface. These are pretty long skewers, but if you're cooking with a lot of veggies you'll probably still end up needing a couple skewers worth of food per adult.Surprisingly affordable way to have an fun, delicious meal for many people. Highly recommend!

SUMMARY: I love these skewers and highly recommend them.PROS+ High quality build+ Can slide the food off using the grip/slider thingy (I forget what they call them). This is a nice perk, as I'd usually use lavash bread to grab meat/veggies off the skewers to pull them off. Now I can just use this, but old habits die hard and if I've got lavash bread, I'm gonna use that still.+ Pretty easy to clean so far with a sponge and Dawn soap.+ They are sharp and easy to pierce through food and veggies. I especially appreciate the width of the skewers because they aren't too wide. On my old skewers, when I tried to pierce mushrooms or slices of Red Peppers, the pieces would break apart. On these, the veggies stay in tact and don't have issues.NEUTRAL= Despite the marketing, I find the skewers get pretty hot and I still use a glove to rotate them while grilling.CONS- This is a nitpick, but I wish it came with a storage bag so I could keep them secure someplace without worry. For now I'm reusing the box to keep it stored in a minimal fashion after cleaning.

Never thought I’d fall in love with skewers, but times are rough these days. These are by far the best I’ve ever used. The flat design allows you to turn/rotate them without your food spinning around, and the slider handle will impress your guests by preventing you from touching their food.

These were reasonably priced and we have found them to be sturdy. We clean them in the dishwasher. The slide is very convenient, so you don't have to struggle with a fork to push off grilled food. You can have a group of kids making S'mores and each kid can get their hot marshmallow off without help. When the slide is retracted to the top of the handle, you can even use it to prop up the skewer leaning into the fire. We use these every time we have guests around our fire pit.

These kabob skewers are longer than most and allowed for ample room for the meat and veggies. Removal was easy with the gliders. No spinning of the food thanks to the flat design. A light spritz with a non stick spray makes for an easy clean up. Love this product!

The thickness is just right that doesn’t allow for food to roll around the skewer. The grip thingy at the handle works great to release the cooked food into the platter. But the greatest thing about it is the length that fits in a regular size oven. I have been cooking kabobs in convection roast setting and this is the only medium length skewers that fit perfectly in the oven. Good quality stainless steel, food comes off just fine no need to scrub hard.

I would have rated 5 stars, but with a couple of the skewers, the handle can easily move in the wrong direction over the stopper.Easy skewers to put meat / veg on.Eady to slide meat / veg off thanks to the cool design.

I wish I had these years ago. Sturdy and well-made. The device to slide the food off is ingenious. I've run these through the dishwasher several times and they are holding up well. I'm deducting one star for the 65% price increase over what I paid. They're worth $39, not $65.
