Our 8mm (5/8-inch) thick, low-profile BOSS buffing pads have been designed for unrivaled energy transfer and defect removal. I had great results with Griot's Garage foam pads. I have used only the white and orange foam pads. I used one orange for 5 passes of a pickup over 5 days and the pad is still in good shape. I cleaned the pad with a cleaning brush and water or a pad cleaning fluid after every section -- about 2x2 or 2x3 foot area. I was surprised that the cleaning brush didn't shred the pad. I thoroughly cleaned the foam pad after a day's work, and let it sit out overnight. (Pads must be dry before stowing them.)I saw some videos on inexpensive foam pads. They just don't last -- they tear, crumble and edges roll over. From my limited experience with paint polishing, I will only buy a product such as Griot's Garage because of their quality.

Purchased these to help with headlight renew. They have a little more bite than usual paint correction pads and make short work after final sanding. Then one swipe of the 3M restore pads and like brand new. I’ve found the new Turtle wax One and Done works great with these pads on headlights. Thumbs up

I typically use the hex pads. They work fine. But I watched the Griots video and thought Ok I'll try it. I must say I like it. seems to cut better I assume bc Its thinner and transfers more energy. I used their fast correcting cream followed by machine polish 3(thats what I had). Removed the scratches and restored the shine ON my truck. Its a daily so I don't stress too much over it. I would assume these will work great for plastic polishing. I will get the 3in and try it on my tail lights.Overall very happy.

These pads are top notch especially when using there product with them. Some of the better foam pads out there imo. 👌 Check um out give um a try for yourself. Just don't think using a cheap da will work though. I keep seeing these super cheap and horrible polisher ads on fb and x. They ain't good for anything but laying down wax.

A great pad for polishing and paint correction. My only issue is it only lasted about 4 jobs. IMHO it’s essentially a Magic Eraser pad.

These work great, and they're worth the money. You *do* need to be careful about using them with too much pressure and too high of a speed. You *can* begin to burn through the paint if you aren't paying attention. But just watch what you're doing, and you should be okay. Of you're a beginner, start slow until you learn what the pad can do.

I've always had good luck with the GG pads and these 2-inch pads are no different. The bell-shape makes it easy to get close in. Stick with GG polishing, buffing, and correcting pads, and you'll not be disappointed.

I used these pads in conjunction with the Boss fast correcting cream and I'm disappointed that I was unable to remove very minor surface defects in the clear coat. Combined, I feel the product doesn't cut enough.
