can crusher heavy duty soda and beer
16oz can crusher

12oz can crusher

Load...

Once ensuring the cans are empty, simply load the can (up to 500ml in size) into the can crusher ready for crushing.

The black design helps to hide marks and spillages that inevitably come from using the heavy duty can crusher over time.

beer can crusher

Crush...

Grab the ergonomic handle and push downwards until the can is crushed to around 80% of it's original size.

Unlike some other can crushers, the rubber square at the bottom safely holds the can in place whilst being crushed.

soda can crusher

Toss...

Once the can is crushed, take the empty can soda or beer can out and chuck it into the recycling.

Consider keeping your recycling bucket/bag beneath the crusher, ready to easily catch the crushed cans.

I bought this for the price point and 5 star reviews. We have a huge hoard of cans to recycle and needed a crusher that could do it but did not want to spend $40-$50 on one. This little crusher is tough and I've smashed hundreds of cans with it now for the past couple months. This is an honest review of its pros and cons. (Picture is of the condition after months of use)Pros: it is fairly durable, seems to handle being mounted outside under an overhang. The metal itself is sturdy and can hold up to the pressures of crushing. The handle is padded and comfortable, surprisingly durable and has held up without ripping. Also it's not an eyesore once mounted and it can handle a large amount of cans without being hindered at all. Mounting the crusher is very simple and they provide all of the screws you need.Cons: the grip pads on the top and bottom portion of the can holder break and wear out very quickly (mostly aesthetics you don't need them). After a couple hundred cans the mechanism starts to get stiff and does require some kind of lubricant like WD-40 or in my case I used white grease. Once the black finish is worn off it will rust and be more susceptible to it(as you can see from the picture where the paint has rubbed off). Also when smashing if you smash all the way down forcefully about every 10 or 15 cans gets wedged in the bottom that you have to pry out(this is solved by leaving a little space at the bottom of the smash)Overall this is an excellent can crusher for the price point, it has exceeded my expectations and I expect it to last for quite a bit longer. If you're not looking to spend very much but get the most bang for your buck definitely this one. This one is in no way comparable to the cheaper ones like at harbor freight, it's definitely much better.

Very good crusher for the price. Heavy duty with soft handle. Only downfall is that it does NOT release the can after crushing it, the way the old school crushers did. You have to manually place the can in, crush it, and then remove it by hand. Would buy again. But, hopefully it lasts a long time.

The best can crusher I’ve ever used. It’s strong and sturdy and well made. The crusher I bought before this one was cheap, and after a week it was bent and fell apart. Easy to mount.

Seems very sturdy. Mounted on drywall with the provided screws and anchors and seems very secure. I am sure that over time due to the force of pulling the handle down it might loosen and need to be remounted but that is to be expected if not mounted on wood. Found the trick to crushing cans more easily and not having them pop out onto the floor - with your fingers slightly dent two sides of the can before inserting into the crusher (keep the dented sides of the can on the sides of the can crusher as you insert). Takes much less force to crush the can and it does not fly out of the slot. Probably crushed a couple of hundred cans so far and no issues with the crusher. Nothing lasts forever but seems like this will keep going for quite a long time.

Feels very sturdy & well-made. Accommodates regular & tall cans, with a smooth, easy crushing motion. Great price & comes with a 12 month warranty.

I bought this for our garage and can not wait for my husband to install it. Although, its pretty easy to do, I just dont know where he would want it and you know how men are with their garage! It is super solid construction and the handle does not feel like it will be loose or anything. I think its priced perfect and if it shows to be less than what I see so far I will come back to update.

We are very pleased with this can crusher. Works great & easy to use. I really like the non slip pad for the cans to sit on. Can crush extremely well when you sent the cans a little on each side before placing them in the crusher. Definitely worth the money. It also came with the koozie, nice added touch.

Got this to save space in the recycling bin from empty beer cans. Does a great job. I decided not to fix it to the wall as I worried about how much pressure it would put on the wall during use. I opted to leave it free standing, albeit on its back, and use it on the counter in the utility room. If you press in the middle of the beer can slightly before crushing it makes it easy to crush without needing excess pressure.

Generally this does a great job of crushing cans but I faced few issues.Mounting it on my wall with the included plugs and screws was simple enough and holds it very strong which is essential (brick wall; not sure if wood or plasterboard would be strong enough, might need special screws/mounts for that). Pop your empty can in (well, most of them, up to 500ml size - pint cans and 500ml with widgets etc. won't fit), pull it down firmly and quickly then release.Other people said it's best to slightly crush the side of the cans first, but this sends the cans into a funny shape with lots of sharp edges sticking out (and sometimes catching in the crusher mechanism). I had better results just putting fully straight cans in then crushing fast and firm, resulting in perfect smooth can pucks every time!First couple of weeks it worked so well but the rubber grips soon started to fall apart and there sounds/feels like a metal-on-metal rubbing somewhere when moving the lever (which is less noticeable when pulling firm and fast, but pull slowly and the whole thing starts to stick). Not sure whether this is a defect, or something caused by previous 'advice' to slightly crush the side of the cans by hand first before using this. That aside, It still does it's job, I might see about replacing it eventually, whether or not to try a different brand or another one of these in case my issues are a one-off.

I've had a couple of the cheap can crushers, and while one is still working, the other broke its weld, due to poor workmanship. I bought this one hoping that it was better made, and it was. The top three holes are in the same place, but you'll need to drill another for the bottom, and it's worth it. The mechanism feels more rigid, there's a higher quality feel to the slide, and there's a rubberised base where you put the can, plus a lip on the edge to stop the can from pinging out and hitting you in the face. That was one of the symptoms of the cheap crusher starting to fail, as the can stand started drooping. A can to the face is more of a surprise than a pain, but it's not pleasant.Buy this one if you want a better can crusher.
