Cheaper than a Stew Mac set though not by much, cuts very fast and well. This is the opinion of an amateur but the set is great for slotting a standard 6 string. I find it hard to believe you would need better files for any DIY job.

At first I thought that the files were too wide, turns out my nut was filed too thin. Stopped the detuning imediatelly. A good thing to have for enthusiasts.

If you are doing any type of nut work on a guitar to do it right you will need nut files
