Super easy to apply and the sponge provided was fantastic! I was only going to seal an area I regrouted but it was so easy I did the whole wall. The only downside is the super long cure time which makes it not convenient for quick repairing small things around the house.9/10

I really like my shower, it's a walk-in, fully tiled shower, but because there's little to no airflow, the grout around the bottom tends to deteriorate over time due to moisture and mildew buildup. I got this grout sealer because I have to re-grout the bottom of the shower every five years or so, and I wanted to extend that time while also preventing anything from leaching through the grout into the back of the shower. If you've never re-grouted before, it's actually pretty easy. There are plenty of premixed buckets to choose from, and in my experience, they all work about the same. I use a red Scotch-Brite pad to sand off any rough edges and a Dremel for any tougher spots to keep everything flat. Then, I use a sponge to apply the grout, filling in any gaps. After that, I clean the area with a damp sponge and let it cure for about 24 hours, going back over it to ensure it's smooth. Once the grout is set, I apply the grout sealer. The kit came with a spray bottle of sealer, gloves, a brush, a sponge, and a microfiber towel, which was nice. I sprayed on a thin layer, spread it around with the sponge, and used the brush to get into the crevices. I repeated this process two more times, waiting about an hour between each coat as the directions recommended. Overall, I highly recommend this sealer. It was easy to apply and came with plenty of helpful accessories. I also have enough left to reseal the grout every few months for at least a couple of years.

I cleaned my tiles and grout thoroughly; then applied this grout sealer using the included foam brush and sponge applied the first coat let it sit for about 5 minutes and used the included microfiber cloth to wipe the excess residue then apply the second coat 20 minutes later, repeating the same stepsI've let the sealer cure for 48 hours . Only time will tell if I did a good job sealing the grout or if the grout become dirty again. I will update my review in a few weeks letting you know how well it performed.

This kit includes everything you would need to seal your grout. I tested the kit on my master bath shower, which has 4 walls of 4"x4" tiles and 2" square floor tiles. In other words, lots of grout between all of these. I started with the included foam brush but found it tedious to use for the amount of grout lines I had to do. Things got much easier after I switched to the included sponge. My process was to spray the grout lines with the sprayer and then follow behind with the sponge. In a short time, one side of the sponge was "loaded" with sealer, and that made it even easier, and I didn't need to use as much spray. After letting the sealer set for 5-10 minutes, you wipe off excess with a soft towel. I applied 3 coats as the instructions suggested for a shower; otherwise, 2 coats are sufficient. I can't speak for longevity yet, but I can say that this is the easiest grout sealer that I have ever used, with each coat taking about 10-15 minutes.

The grout sealer works well and provides good protection, but make sure to have proper ventilation while using it. The fumes can be strong, so an open window or fan helps. Easy to apply and dries clear—great for showers, floors, and kitchens!

I’ve done some mosaics but I’ve never sealed the grout. I have this bowling ball. I did a glass mosaic about 20 years ago and the grout is getting dingy. I put 2 coats of this on. They give you the sealer, a sprayer, a sponge and a sponge brush depending on how you want to apply it. There is also a nice towel included. It was easy to use, a bit drippy on a ball, and no toxic odor. I don’t know if it did anything, after 20 years the grout may be unable to absorb anything. But I certainly intend to use it on any future projects.

This stuff stinks to high heaven, but I guess that's how you know it works- hahaha. Seriously though, the smell aside, the value is great- they give you about everything you need to get the job done in one convenient and affordable package, and there's plenty of sealer included to apply multiple coats for a tile walk-in shower that's about 6.5x4ft wide, with some left over. You get a spray bottle, sponge, sponge brush, gloves, and a cloth too nice to use for this process (I used an old t-shirt rag instead and tossed it).Clean your grout really good. I spent a day really going at it with a grout brush and bleach and got it as good as possible. Not perfect, but better than it was... Let it dry. Then simply spray and sponge this stuff on, let it sit 5 minutes, and wipe up the excess with a clean rag. Wait about 20 minutes and repeat the process. Do that again for the third coat. Then wait 24-48 hours. That's the hard part, but worth doing- and you don't want to be around it while it's stinky anyway. Find another place to shower, or use a washcloth in a sink and make do for a bit so you don't wash all your effort down the drain. The smell mostly went away overnight, by the way- so it's not like it's permanent... You just might want to wear a suitable mask while doing this if it bothers you enough or if you have sensitive lungs. That's it. Grout is sealed, so it shouldn't get as dirty or mildewy as fast. Time will tell how long it lasts, but in the meantime, I won't have to scrub so hard, so I consider it a great value and worth the effort of doing.
